Chapter 1

I walked through the streets waiting for the prey to catch the bait I set up earlier. President Fukuzawa gave me this mission yesterday and I've been trailing the suspect since yesterday since I needed to be careful not to be noticed by him.

I started to follow him when he started to run after stealing and punching a random vendor in the street. I quickly ran after him but not enough to notice me until he took a sharp turn into an alley

I summoned my katana and threw it directly into his leg. It's enough for him to slow down but he still continue until he was met with people. He immediately stopped and looked behind him

"That's enough running for you"

I said as I pick up my katana on the ground. I ignored the people around us and slowly approached him. This made him back away until he hit a wall. I saw him smirk until his body shrunk.

"Wait no-!"

I immediately said but it took me fee seconds before I realized that Dazai was holding him, stopping him from shrinking into an ant.

"Aria~ Since I helped you into your mission will you be my suicide partner~?" Dazai asked in a sing-song voice which made my face go blank for a moment

"Only if you guessed my name"

"Aria-san!"

I slowly turned my back to see Akutagawa and a yellow haired woman who was pointing a gun at us. I looked at the woman who was pointing gun and I could say she's pretty and she's actually shaking from something. Was it fear? Was it anger? Well I don't know.

I slowly approached then and smiled at Akutagawa while ruffling his hair which made the woman gasp and I saw jealousy in her eyes.

"Don't worry, I'm not mad but what happened exactly?" I slowly looked around to see Naomi, Tanizaki and a white haired boy on the ground. They were pretty injured and Yosano would probably tend them again which is something I don't want to experience again

I approached the white haired boy and poked his cheeks to see if he's still alive and I'm glad he is

"Is he the one that you and Kunikida are trying ti fund, Dazai?"

"Yeah and to fill your curiosity about what happened, here's what happened"

Dazai started to tell the whole story while still holding the criminal that I've been chasing. It took a few minutes before he's finally done talking

"...And that's what happened"

"I see... A bounty on his head but who would do it? And why is the Port Mafia chasing this bounty?"

"It's the Port Mafia, what do you expect?"

"Akutagawa-senpai, who is she?" The yellow haired woman suddenly asked which caught my attention

"Just like Dazai-san she's also one of ex-executive of the Port Mafia. She suddenly disappeared few months before Dazai-san also left the Mafia" Akutagawa explained which made me stay silent

The woman widened her eyes and just stared at me

"That's enough for today. Let's retreat for now Higuchi" Akutagawa said and slowly walked away and then the woman named Higuchi followed him

I looked at Dazai who was looking at me intensely and it seems like he knocked out the person I was chasing

"Why are you staring at me like that? It's kinda creepy somehow"

"I'm jealous. How can you just talk with Akutagawa like that?" He said while making a sad voice trying to make me pity him

"You're making me want to kick you right now. And since I wasn't involved into this fight, carry them and let Yosano treat them all" I said before grabbing the man I was chasing from him

"That's horrible~ How can you do that to me? Aria~!"

I ignored him and carried the man in my arms and soon I was at the police ready to surrender him. It took awhile before I came out from the police station

I strolled around the city to find something that I can give to the new member of the Agency. Most of the things I saw was something that doesn't interest me until I saw a white tiger keychain and I immediately bought it.

I was on my way at the agency when I saw people surrounding the building and I just couldn't help but sigh. Another raid from the Port Mafia?

I took my sweet time arriving at the 4th floor only to be met by a broken door and bodies laying inside the office

"Another raid?" I asked and sweatdropped

"Kunikida-san, what should we do to them?" Kenji asked while smiling brightly

"Throw them out the window" Kunikida answered clearly not in the best mood since this raid will only give him a pain in head for fixing the whole office

"Roger~!" Kenji said before dragging the bodies near the window and throwing them outside

"Oh? Aria, you're back" Kunikida finally noticed me

"Yeah and to see the Agency to be raided once again is not surprising but the question is what caused them to attack us this time?" I asked while picking up the folders in the floor

"It's hard to explain but I'll explain it later" he said while writing on his notebook

"Oi, hurry up and help with the clean up, brat!" Kunikida said while still writing

I looked at the white haired boy who was staring at Kenji throwing out bodies in the window

"I can't believe you wandered off in the middle of it all! I told you, you're a member of this Agency now. You should be thinking in what you yourself can do. Well, helping with clean-up is something you can do"

I looked at the newbie who was tearing up because of what Kunikida said

"Kunikida, you're such a bad person. You're making a boy cry" I said teasingly while patting the boy's head

"Huh?! I'm not-!"

"See? He's crying" I said and faced him the boy

It's such a good view whenever Kunikida is pissed

The boy quickly wiped his tears and looked at me

"Thank you...?"

"Aria, call me Aria" I said while smiling

"Aria-san, thank you" he said and smiled

"My name is Atsushi Nakajima, nice to meet you, Aria-san"

"Oh, before I forgot" I took out the keychain out of my pocket and gave it to him "A little gift for you"

I saw his eyes widened and he unconsciously hugged me which I returned back. When he came back to his senses he was telling sorry frantically

"It's okay. It's only normal to be thankful when you receive something. Now, let's help them clean up, shall we?"
