#27: what was the truth

Aarohi went to her hostel, changed, and got ready to go to the hospital. When she reached the hospital, she saw that Ravi was there standing at the reception. She went to him, and she already knew that there was no emergency. She lied to Rudra just to get out of that situation. Ravi called her to ask where she was last night and if she was fine.

When she reached there, Ravi asked her, "Where did you leave last night?"  Aarohi just said that she was not feeling well, so she left. Ravi.
"Oh, okay. So, let's go."  Ravi said, you must have classes. You should leave; otherwise, you will be late."

Aarohi said, "Yeah, bye."

"Okay."

She went to the classes. Jiya was already there. Jiah was excited to know if something happened last night as she went to the party with Ravi. But looking at Aarohi, she asked, "What happened?"

Aarohi said, "At the party, Rudra was there. I met him."
Jiyasaid, "Then what happened?"

And he was dancing with his girlfriend. I was so upset by looking at them. I drank. Then I saw him kissing that girl. And then I left their place. And you know what jiya , I called him. He came. He took me to his house. And I spent the night there.

Jiya was so excited, and she asked, "Don't tell me, did you do that?"

Aarohi said, "Shut up. No. I just slept." I slept on the bed. He slept out of the room, that's all. I came in the morning.

Jiya asked, "So why are you tense now?"
Aarohi said, "I told him that I saw him sleeping with a girl five years ago. Now he wants the full truth of what happened that day. He may not remember much of it."

Jiya concluded , "Then what's the problem? Go and tell him."

Aarohi said, "No, I just don't want to talk about it."

"You have to, okay? You have to face him and tell him everything." And maybe after listening to the whole thing, he will leave you alone. What do you think?"

Aarohi said, "What if we try to explain? What if we have a reason? What if we said it was just a drunken mistake?"

"It's up to you."If you decide not to forgive him, then just tell him that you don't want him in your life."
Aarohi said, "I'll think about it."

After the classes, they were on their way towards the canteen. Ravi came and asked if he and some friends could join them for lunch. Aruvi said, "Okay." So they went to the canteen, sat at the table, and had lunch.

Suddenly, Jiya saw that Rudra was coming and thought he might be heading towards aarohi. She signaled to Aarohi that he was approaching.

Aarohi felt tense. She stood up and said she was done with her lunch and had to go. Grabbing her stuff, she left. Rudra noticed her leaving and followed her. She hid in her room, and Rudra didn't see her. After searching for her and asking about her, he left to go to practice.

Aarohi sat in her room, which was actually a storeroom where old patient records were kept. She sat on the floor since there was no other place to sit. Then she started thinking about the events of the last day, five years ago.

✨️Five years ago ....

After receiving many messages from Rudra , aarohi saw them in the morning, she was angry with him at first, but then she found them cute.

She thought that as it was their last day in the city, she just wanted to meet Rudra for a bit. She got ready, and as her father was arriving in an hour, she headed towards Rudra's flat. She already had the keys, as Rudra had given them to her. She took them, knowing that Rudra slept late at night because he had been busy messaging her, so he must be sleeping.
