8- Veil of Uncertainty

"My Lady, It is a pleasure to meet you finally I am Kurosuki Mei," She says and my eyes widen a bit before returning to normal.

"The pleasure is mine Miss Kurosuki" I say to her.

That's when a guard came rushing in and wanted to speak to Ayaka.

"Brother, please excuse me and sister, we will be right back" Ayaka says and both of us leave to meet the guard. I couldn't help but look back to see Ayato smiling at Miss Kurosuki. I shake my head at this thought and walk in to meet the guard.

"The Tenryou commission has arrested Master Masakatsu." He said

"What?"Ayaka says

"How did the tenryou commission find out about the counterfeit visions?" I ask rubbing my forehead.

"For vision bearers, it would be easily distinguishable which is fake and which is real," Ayato says coming in along with both Mr and Miss Kurosuki.

"My Lady If I may suggest, You have grown up around the Kujou clan, maybe if you can talk to Kujou Sara she will listen and Let Master Masakatsu go." Ms Kurosuki says. I look at Ayaka who is looking at me expectantly. I know Sara will not be listening to anything I say nor will the Kujou Clan. But I give them a nod

"I will try my best," I say. After that, they started talking about clan affairs and Ayaka and I stepped out

"Ayaka I will talk to Sara, but I don't know if they will listen."

"I trust you Hime" She says.

Next day

I was in front of the Tenryou Commission's headquarters. I took in a deep breath and went in. I am greeted by Sara giving orders to a few Shonganate soldiers. As they see me they bow to me and I give them a small bow back. She notices this and turns around to face me

"Hime, What brings you here?" She says while she dismisses the soldiers. As the soldier's walkout

"I heard the Shogunate has arrested Mr Mataskatsu?" I ask her crossing my arms over my chest

"Yes we did"Sara answers

"Release him" I say in an authoritative tone.

"I can't, he -" I put up my hand stopping Sara

"I didn't ask for an explanation Kujou Sara, I asked you to release him" I say

"I apologise, but I can't," She says.

"Sara, I will handle this," A voice I recognise very well says.

"So Mr Commissioner tell me why is an innocent person locked up in prison" I ask

"I don't think you have the right to order us around Mrs Kamisato," He says stepping in along with his 2 sons

"So that's how it is Sir Kujou," I say.

"Did you forget that I am still the Hime of Inazuma? I don't think the shogun would appreciate your discourtesy towards her daughter" I say.

"You are now married." He says

"And your point being?" I ask him

"Do you think it's just cause I have gotten married my ties with my mother are broken? No, She is still my mother and I am still the Princess of Inazuma. You are still answerable to me Sir Kujou." I say.

"Hime, We neither question your place as the princess nor your commitment towards the nation. But we cannot disclose why we have arrested Mr Mataskatsu and cannot release him" Kamaji tells me.

"And I am ordering you to release him" I try to say calmly as everyone was starting to get on my nerves with this.

"I apologize, Hime, We cannot, the arrest has already been recorded and we cannot release him" Kamaji explained. I breathe in and start walking out. As I reach the exit of the room. Pull out my sword- Nightglider- slash the Dojo Mat in two halves and walk out of the estate.
