After another hour, Vick came back into the room with a tray of food for him. It was just some chicken noodle soup and crackers. There was also a bottle of water.

"Here's your first meal after being fed sedated for so long." Vick declared. "Eat up now. You are going to be expected to eat when the food is offered to ya. After all, food can also be restricted from you as a punishment too if you don't do as you're told."

"Vick, is it?"

"Yes."

"How can you allow this experiment to be forced on me? Surely, as a guy too, you understand that this experiment isn't right." Brooklyn tried to get the man to see things his way.

"Of course, I do. But also, as a man who is interested in genetics, and always wondered if a male could carry babies, and wanted to if I could, but I'm also being paid to make this happen. I'm sorry if this upsets you, Brooklyn, but sometimes, one must make sacrifices to see some progress, to make a revelation on something new in this world." Vick explained.

"I know all about making sacrifices for the betterment of family, progress, or rules, but this is unnatural! Please, you have to stop this experiment." Brooklyn pleaded.

"I could, but I won't. There aren't much of your kind around. With such a shortage of females, I'm sorry, but the experiment is going to keep on going." Vick declared. "And you better behave, or we could keep you even more restrained than how you are now."

"No. I don't want to be tied down."

"Good, though it would be a good way to feel the baby every day on my part." Vick said.

"There's no way I'm allowing you near me!" Brooklyn warned him.

"Oh, but you must. Eventually, the baby will need to be examined again." Vick stated. "Do you want official proof you are carrying a child?"

This made Brook perk up. "Yes, I would. This would be the only time I allow you anywhere near me." Brook declared.

"Eat up first and I can see about letting the doctor do an ultrasound on you, cooperatively." Vick said.

Brooklyn didn't want to eat at all right now, but he didn't want to be force fed either. He reluctantly ate the soup that was before him. He had felt the warm liquid hit his stomach. But after smelling and tasting it, he finished it for sure. He didn't realize how hungry he was.

Then he pushed the tray aside, taking and opening the water bottle. Well, at least he wouldn't be starved by these humans. Not unless his behavior warranted a punishment.

"Just what are you going to do with me?" Brooklyn inquired.

"For right now, you are my guest and my project, to make sure the fetuses grow just right." Vick answered, not aware of his words for a moment, but then he froze.

Brooklyn was instantly all ears and he heard what the man had said. His eyes widened. "What do you mean 'fetuses?'" He demanded. "Is there more than one?" It was making his breathing quicken.

"Calm down, Brooklyn. Stress is not good for you in your condition." Vick tried to get him to calm down.

"Just answer me! Is there more than one?" Brook asked.

"Yes, there is. Just a twin." Vick replied.

"Oh, great!" Brooklyn's hand hit his face. Not only was he pregnant, but he was also pregnant with twins! This would put a lot more stress on him. Another reason he needed to get out of here.

Brooklyn hated the idea of terminating new life, but how he was carrying these babies just wasn't right. But he knew he had no choice as long as he remained here.

"We'll do an ultrasound tomorrow night for ya, to give you time to think about what you've learned tonight. Tomorrow night, you will have your proof of your pregnancy." Vick smiled at him.

"Yeah." Brook muttered.

The rest of the night, Brooklyn could only think about what he had learned was going with his body. There was no way he was going to escape this fate. He worried about possibly dying because he wasn't meant to carry offspring like a female could. But it seemed to be doing not so bad thus far.

Vick gave him food two other times as well. Brooklyn ate the food he was offered, and he was able to keep it down. But he sure felt both full and hungrier. After he was done eating, Brooklyn would just sit on the mattress, bored. But at one point, he got up and walked to edge of his chain and tried to pull the chain loose. But it wouldn't give way. It was too strong.

Brooklyn knew he was stuck here for a while. But he would constantly look for an opening to escape. He didn't want to be part of this experiment.
