Chloe stood pacing down the hallway. She knew that she couldn't sit by izzie bed like the rest of them. She knew that she felt like a hypocrite. She rubbed the back of her neck and sighed. She knew all that had happened with her and Alex. She knew how Chloe and issue had those izzies when it came to Alex. And izzie didn't like that he choose Chloe and Chloe didn't want to sit and act as if they were besties

Chloe looked to see Maddie as she walked over to her and smiled "are you okay" Maddie asked as Chloe sighed

"I'll be okay i don't know I just can't sit there and scared if we're friends I know she has cancer and I feel bad for her I do but.." Chloe said as maddie looked to her and smiled

"Hey I get it. I'm your sister I know you. You don't need to explain it to me besides it's not as if she makes things easy either" Maddie said as chloe looked to her and smiled

"Yeah well I don't even care. I just need to stay away" Chloe said as her pager beeped

"There's a trauma let's go" Chloe said as Maddie nodded. They headed down to the ambulance bay as they saw an ambulance come up.

Chloe and Maddie held a look as they saw the gurney and looked to see a pretty mangled body

"Unidentified male, dragged by a bus.He's clamped down, so we couldn't intubate."

"Didn't they stop when they hit him?" Maddie asked

"bus driver didn't know he was there until he got halfway down the block."

"oh, is he gonna be okay?" Someone from the other ambulance asked

"Okay, i'll take over c. p. r." Callie said as they rushed inside

" push 20 etomidate and 100 of sux." Owen said

"He saved my life.The bus was gonna hit me.he threw me out of the way."

"Grey, get her out of here." Callie said to Lexie

"it was supposed to be me under the bus. he's all alone.
They don't even know who he is. please."

"all right, stand over there and just don't move."

"He's back." Chloe said as she looked to the monitor

"okay, let's get a trauma series, Trauma labs and o-neg blood in here." Callie said

"Severe avulsion injury to the left forearm." Chloe said

"Whoa." Maddie said as they looked to his face

"okay, his skull is bashed in.Page Shepherd.and Sloan.
Start antibiotics and start cleaning out those wounds." Owen said as the girl vomited

" uh ... Now can you get her out of here?" Callie asked as she looked to Lexie
