The Park Is Open (Zach Mitchell x Reader)

Part 2

As you were walking in, another voice came over the intercom, almost like a slight warning. "Parents Beware This Show May Be Disturbing For Smaller Children."

Gray ran to where the open glass was, he almost couldn't push his way to the front. You looked to Zach, to see if he would help his brother, but he just sat there, on his phone. You grabbed Gray's hand, and looked down, "You ready?"

Gray nodded quickly, you then pushed your way to the front, pushing a bunch of people out of your way. You finally saw the front of the glass, and with one final push, you made it to the front. Gray looked up at you, excited, you both then turned back to the T-Rex paddock, looking for the giant beast.

A slight roar came from the left of you, everyone turned their heads to the right. You looked down, a small goat was chained to a pole, bushes and stuff like that surrounded it. A red flare was then dropped on the side of the goat, it was glowing brightly as the goat sat dow. A large gasp filled the room as you saw the T-Rex, she was a light grey, almost black, her eyes were yellow and shadowed, she was huge.

She bent down, looking curiously at the goat, realizing it was a meal. She opened her large jaw and bit down on the goat. The echoing of bones crunching rang in your ear, most people cheered, but you sat there speechless. The poor goat, you felt a hand on your forearm, you turned around and saw Zach.

"What's next?" Gray yelled with excitement, Zach had pulled you two out of the little crowd, "Mosasaurus." All 3 of you walked out of the T-Rex Kingdom, but you stopped, turning around, looking for Ally. "SOMEONE STOLE ALLY."

Gray looked up at you, really confused, "Who is Ally?" You kept looking around for the bright green brontosaurus. "It's her balloon." You then looked up at Zach, "It is not a balloon."

Gray smiled, "Oh, yeah someone took it from you." You gasped and turned looking at everyone who was coming out, there was a 3 year old girl carrying the balloon, you smiled slightly, you weren't going to take it from a little girl.

You started to walk away, Zach ran up to you, "You're not going to take the balloon back from the kid?" You shook your head, "look at her. She is so happy to be able to have the balloon."

The two boys turned around to look at the little girl, she was bouncing up and down with joy, smiling at her parents. Gray turned around, "Now I know why you didn't take her back."

"Thank you for saying her." Zach then looked towards the giant coliseum, "We're gonna be late." He forced both of you to go into the large room. Once you were in there, you saw there were seats lined like bleachers, but there were multiple sections. You walked over and sat in the middle center.

People filled to the brim of the coliseum, people were talking about random things, waiting for the show to start. You, on the other hand, were paying attention to your phone. Tim was blowing up your phone, apologizing for what he had said to you earlier.

You shook your head, and texted back, "Go get eaten by a dinosaur." You then put your phone back in your pocket and waited for the show to start. Finally a woman walked up to the large platform, "The mosasaurus was thought to have hunted near the surface of the water, where it preyed on anything it could sink its teeth into, including turtle, large fish, even smaller mosasaurus."

She pressed a button on her side, and on a large conveyor belt came a shark, hung by its tail. You then took your hair out of the little half up half down hairstyle you had done, and pulled it all back into a ponytail.

She stopped the shark and turned towards the crowd, "Okay folks, let's see if she's hungry after already eating today." Everybody sat there in anticipation, waiting to see the watery beast that lurked below the blue depths. .
