Outis was in his room looking through his damaged satchel containing every dog tag he's collected from his friends that was no longer present in the world below Babylonia. He spent his days reading each dog tag carefully before setting them aside one by one he had done this in order to never forget his friends. The ones that tried to protect humanities way of life. The soon to be forgotten.

He stopped on the last tag and wiped the dog tag with his thumb brushing aside the dirt but the dried blood remained on the tag constantly reminding him...

"Don't cry... we don't have the same Inver devices that the new constructs have so you can't be possibly blamed."

Her crimson bangs fluttered in the wind as ash carried by the wind fluttered by.

"Come on. You promised me you'll be strong... I didn't fall in love with you for being a pussy..." She joked as she hugged him one last time as welled in her eyes and then she was gone from a single shot and the the pistol dropped as he hugged her tightly with his heart completely shattered and the day where a flame of hatred sparked within him a fickle flame that started to grow from each injury he received, the men he lost, and the never ending reminder of his shortcomings

Yet it is one of the things that ushers him on.

Outis placed the dog tag around his neck "I ask that you watch over me and respect the decision I decided to make by accepting this procedure." Outis said to himself as he held onto her dog tag before placing the rest back into the bag one at a time before there was a knock on the door "Come in. Just counting chickens and sheep" Outis said jokingly before coughing violently "I'm surprised to see you joking even while your dying" Hassen said responding to his joke "I've been through helluva lot worse. Did you come here bearing good news?" Outis asked turning the wheel chair to face Hassen "Doctor Asimov is waiting on you. Any second thoughts or concerns you want to express?" Hassen asked "It's less of a concern but... could you keep that satchel of mine somewhere safe at least for the time being?" Outis asked "Sure. Just make sure to come get it back from me when your fit for duty" Hassen said cracking a joke of his own

"Sir, yes sir." Outis said sarcastically causing Hassen to chuckle before moving behind the wheel chair and grabbing the satchel before beginning to push Outis out the door

Outis was placed on the table as Asimov ordered the staff around "Commandant Outis. You might feel strange sensation in your head after you wake up and but once your in your M.I.N.D you'll know." Asimov explained to him receiving a nod "Beginning transfer." Asimov said and began monitoring the progress

Nikola stood a good distance away staring at Outis with an unreadable face with his arms crossed he was thinking of what was to come of the soon to be Ex-Commandant. He was placed into a old construct model with a early experimental Inver device as per his last second request. Nikola was knew of what had transpired on the grounds where Outis had fought. The only thing remaining was a barren city with a trench covering the outside perimeter a tattered flag showing Humanities failure of containing the Punishing Virus

Nikola spent months reading each report from Commandant Outis with each report signifying how many men were sent and how many were lost with each report a number would drop by single digits before double digits then none.

Then he looked over Outis' Commandant profile he ranked top of his class being the designated chief of the Spear of F.O.S. of his generation which made him wonder 'What if you never became a Commandant?' Nikola asked but already knew the answer he would have received from Outis
