CHAPTER 36

NATASHA'S POV:

NAKA LABAS NA KAMI SA EMERGENCY ROOM, next week na daw ang due ng baby ko. For almost three weeks na nag stay dito si Sein, mas lalong dumadami ang gamit nila baby. We even went to shopping noong dumating siya dito, may mga gamit na din sa isang kwarto kung saan ilalagay sila baby with me.

“Natasha, put this ointment on your belly!” tawag sa akin ni Sein, nasa kusina siya habang ako naman ay nasa living room naka upo.

He's been taking care of me since the day he arrived, and the way he act made me felt more comfortable with him. But, I can feel something's off with him pero hindi ko na ito pinansin.

“Need parin ba? I'm already tired.” reklamo ko.

He sighed and sit next to me. “It will leave a stretch marks kapag pinabayaan mo ‘yan.”

And guess what? Makulit pa ito kesa sa doctor ko, kung hindi ba naman loko.

“But I'm tired, ikaw nalang ang mag lagay.” I said.

He frowned straight and cleared his throat, tumayo siya at saka ako humiga sa sofa. I close both my eyes because I'm really tired, may something din na masakit sa balakang ko na hindi ko ma explain. I just ignored it baka remembrance lang ito dati, akala ko manganganak na ako ng maaga. Joke time lang pala, pero sobrang sakit talaga ng tiyan ko that time e.

“After this, drink your milk already tapos matulog na. It's almost ten in the evening.” he reminded me.

I just nod while both my eyes are all shut, my hands are on the top of my abdomen. I can feel his hands gently applying the ointment on my stomach.

“Buy me mcdo later ha? I'm super hungry na, wala pa sila Elaine.” I requested.

“Sure, just follow my order and I'm going to buy whatever you want.” he replied.

A smile formed to my lips as I slowly open both my eyes, would he buy me Magnum this time?

“Magnum, hehehe…” I said while chuckling.

“No, sweets are forbidden to you. Just something that's not too sweet, para hindi ka mahirapan sa panganganak.” he refused to my request and reminded me about my labor.

“I want one so bad, I wish you could buy me a tons of Magnum after my labor.” I looked at him with a puppy eyes, trying to convince him to buy me my cravings.

“Okay, okay… after your delivery your babies, I'll buy you a gallons of Magnum ice cream.” Sein's words seems to be promising, kaya naman napapalakpak ako sa tuwa.

Sa dinamidami ng cravings ko, mukhang sa Magnum lang ako manghihina. Apparently, Elaine and the others went out para bumili ng mga medicine na nireseta ni Doc. Dalawa kaming naiwan ni Sein dito sa bahay, sila Mommy naman ay nasa kabilang bahay. Just ten minutes away from here.

After he put the ointment, I can feel the weight of my eyelids getting heavier. Hindi na ako nag ingay pa at dahan-dahan na umakyat sa itaas papuntang kwarto, maybe I should drink my milk later pag gising ko. Inaantok na talaga ako, baka hindi ko pa maubos ‘yan kapag pinilit ko la sarili ko.

“Sein, I'm going to sleep first. Later nalang ang gatas, I'm so tired na.” paalam ko dito, saktong nakarating na ako sa itaas at binuksan ang kwarto ko. I slowly put my body in bed and closed both my eyes.

NAGISING AKO sa lakas ng kalabog mula sa baba ng bahay, bumangon ako mula sa kama at dahan dahang nag lakad palabas ng kwarto. Hindi ko rin naman tinignan ang oras dahil tinatamad ako, I had this feeling na parang naihi ako pero parang hindi ako sure dahil masakit ang puson ko.
