Just another lonely day as Yuki sat in silence minding her own business "Hi" she lifted her head to look at the person greeting her it was the popular girl Yuki tried her best not to stutter but failed "H-Hello" the girl extended her hand "I'm Sasaki Hatsukoi " Yuki hesitantly shook her hand "I'm kanashi Yuki " Hatsukoi smiled saying "I know" they talked for a while before Hatsukoi went back to her seat
The other day not like everyday Yuki had someone to talk to though Hatsukoi ate with her friends Yuki could feel her gaze it wasn't long before Hatsukoi started to sit with Yuki during lunch and also during the usual classes
As the time passed by Yuki's friendship with everyone grew well and for Hatsukoi she became Yuki's bestfriend they were close really close Yuki became really talkative and just loved talking to Hatsukoi
Nothing much changed she was ignored and mistreated by her teachers no one exactly loved her she returned to her home just to be lectured by her parents life was as it used to be
She didn't like school neither her home both the places made her suffer as the time went by she rather preferred school than home she felt happy with her friends and Hatsukoi she could spend time with them and just be happy until it was time to go home
With time came challenges yet another test Yuki worked hard studied with all her dedication and gave her best on the other hand Hatsukoi had fun and didn't study much it wasn't long before the results came and yet again Yuki had average grades and Hatsukoi excelled in the test gaining the spotlight Yuki was happy for her bestfriend they smiled at eachother the following week they had a trip to the old-age home
Yuki was excited to sit with her bestfriend she went to her but Hatsukoi didn't notice her and sat beside her friends and as they reached the teachers paired the students Yuki wanted to be paired with Hatsukoi but Hatsukoi paired herself with one of her friends
Yuki saw it with disappointment on her face as she was paired with others at the end of the trip Yuki found herself all alone as the went back to school she followed Hatsukoi
