The evening dragged everytime Bakugou came to speak to you, and it excelled everytime your old friends came to speak to you. Despite you telling yourself that you'll keep to a corner and interact with those who came up to you, you found yourself chatting away with Denki Kaminari and Momo Yaoyorozu. The two welcomed you back so well making you feel like you never left.

" I heard the parties in the UK are a lot rougher than this?!" Kaminari exclaimed over the very quiet music. You couldn't help but laugh at the fact he had gotten drunk off of cheap champagne.

" Well, they are, they use these to rave basically, no one leaves sober." You mentioned, trailing off at the end of your sentence as you realised where the conversation might head off to since you brought up the topic of soberiety.

" I wish we could let loose a little, having all these interviewers around is very annoying." Yaoyorozu grumbled, sipping her champagne with grace, that can only be learnt from birth.

"How have things been without me here?" You asked.

" Well Midoriya is number 1 and Bakugou hasn't even touched top 5 yet, he has to beat Hawks, Mirio, Tokoyami and Mirko."

You couldn't help but giggle, all the talk that boy had about making it to number 1, and years later he hadn't even touched top 5 it was hilarious.

" What else? Who's together? What's the drama?" You asked.

" If we went over drama we wouldn't leave." Momo smiled placing her glass on the tray of a waiter walking past.

"Couples then." You concluded seeing that as enough for you to go with.

"Well, Uraraka and Midoriya are together, I think they're getting married soon but keeping it on the down low."

" The same Midoriya that said relationships are dangerous in hero work." You mumbled.

" Well I think, Ochaco can defend herself against the fiend's after us." Midoriya concluded, coming up to you to embrace you in a hug.

" You alright?" You greeted.

" Yeh, you? I heard you got in a lot of trouble abroad." He asked concern written all over his face. Midoriya knew that whatever it was that was wrong with you, he would've helped, you were Kaachan's ex girlfriend and close friend to him, he could've been your shoulder to cry on.

" No trouble, just a few bumps." You told him, your ease shifting and discomfort guarded by grace taking over.

You wouldn't ask where his girlfriend was, you felt like you still hated her, putting all of your attention into getting over Bakugou you never took it upon yourself to forgive her.

" Well I'm glad you're alright now." He looked at the ground thinking of how to lighten the mood. " I see your back to gossiping !" He exclaimed.

" We aren't gossiping, I'm just interested in the new couples, who's engaged? who's married? who are partners? who are in denial of their feeling towards each other? That kind of stuff." You smiled feeling comfortable again.

" Well did you meet Katsumi, she's Kaachan's new girlfriend?" He asked.

His eyes glancing around the room to find the girl, landing on her timid form in the corner of the room staring and fingers twiddling like a wall flower. Midoriya cringed when he saw Bakugou on the other side of the room watching you like you were a TV screen.

Midoriya enthusiasticly waved the girl over, a smile gracing her features as she walked over to the group.

"Oh yes we met earlier, Bakugou's girlfriend." You spoke, straightening your back as you examined her. You sent a small smile her way, to show her there was no bad blood between you, you could tell from her earlier body language that she knew who you were.

" Katsumi this is L/ n, she's amazing, she's in the top 20 heroes in the UK, she really strong too, her quirk is cool too....." Midoriya rambled.

Katsumi had heard it all before, she could list everything about you, from your home address, to the way you like to tie your shoelaces, there was never a detail spared when Bakugou complimented you.

However she was curious to see how your quirk worked.

" Can I see your quirk in action?"
