Blue, the color of the ocean and sometimes the color of the moon in a child's painting.
Grey, the color of the moon and sometimes the color of the ocean in a child's painting.
Parents ranting in the back, never looking around and never turning back
Always painting
Always coloring
Green, the color of the thing that matters most in the world
The one they say that "makes it turn"
It's not grass; it's not a steam of a flower
But always painting
Always coloring
Black, the color of death's hood
The color of the eyes in a witch fills her soul
Black, the color of which no one sees
The color that isn't seen in me
But always painting
Always coloring
But through the roots and through the leaves
Green of a flower is throughout me
Because even though I'm a girl
I still have the chance to see the world
Because even though the trees are taller
And can see more than me
It's stuck in its place
Nothing to do
Stuck like glue in a brown old shoe
But as for me I'm not a tree.

PoetryI like writing poems just like everyone else. There are sad and happy poems within this book, some are just plain weird haha. But it's fun and creative and give it a try.
