I would highly recommend reading the description of this fanfiction before continuing to the actual story.
You probably need at least a little bit of information about both Top Gun: Maverick and Stargate: SG-1 before entering into this fanfiction. You can either watch them fully (both are on Amazon Prime Video) or read up on them. They are both very interesting and really cool/inspiring stories! I would also recommend the movie Stargate, which inspired SG-1. It's a fun action flick from the same director who did Independence Day (with Will Smith).
It's pretty basic for TG:M fanfictions, but I envision Brie Larson as Joy "Flopsy" Bradshaw. She works really well as a sibling of Bradley Bradshaw, they look alike enough.
