Spaces Between Us

Chapter two

The next morning I woke up to the smell of coffee which meant Harry must be up. I rolled over and accidentally fell out of bed causing me to shout "fuck". I got up and began picking out which clothes I was going to wear that day, then I made my way downstairs to get some breakfast.

Harry's POV

I was sitting reading the newspaper when I heard a loud thud coming from upstairs followed by that familiar voice shouting fuck which meant Louis was up. I got up and poured him a cup of coffee and put some toast in the toaster as that's what he had for breakfast every single day without fail. I was thinking about what happened last night, why was Louis acting so weird when he saw me? It wasn't like I was naked or anything and he's seen me like that before.

The toast popped up making me jump, I began spreading on the Nutella when I heard footsteps coming down the stairs "perfect timing" I thought to myself as I put the toast on a plate and put it on the kitchen counter along with the coffee for Louis. He walked in and smiled seeing his breakfast ready, he sat down and began eating while I went back to reading the paper, silence filled the room. It wasn't an awkward silence or anything we were just enjoying each other's company.

I eventually broke the silence when I said "so what time's our interview at?" "It's at 10" Louis replied eating the last piece of toast and getting up to put his plate in the sink, I simply nodded. "Haz?" Louis said "hmm" I replied "I'm sorry about last night I didn't mean to make things awkward between us" Louis said. "Oh don't worry about it Lou everything between us is fine" I said flashing him a smile, he smiled back and then went to put his shoes on.

What Louis doesn't know is that I have feelings for him, strong feelings but I'm scared to tell him incase he doesn't feel the same way and that would ruin our amazing friendship! Just then Louis came in saying "ready to go the taxis waiting outside" I nodded and followed him out the door and into the taxi. The journey was short and we were at the place we would be doing the interview at in ten minutes! I jumped out of the taxi and Louis followed, we walked inside and were greeted by the other boys.

At that moment the woman that would be doing the interview came out and greeted us, her name was Claudia and she was in her mid 30's. She told us to follow her so we did! We walked into a small room with six chairs one was slightly further apart than the others which was for Claudia. " Okay, so the interview will be very simple, I'll just be asking you a few questions about the perfume and your plans for this year. Sound good?" Claudia said smiling. We all nodded and sat down, I was in the middle of the boys.

The camera started rolling and Claudia introduced us. "So first question goes to Harry" oh great I thought to my self "So Harry, are you excited about releasing the new perfume Between Us" she said batting her eyelashes, I immediately knew she was trying to flirt with me but I brushed it off and answered her question politely. "Yeah we're really excited to release the new perfume we just hope the fans love it as much as we do". "Okay thank you Harry" she said yet again batting her eyelashes, I smiled uncomfortably at her as I didn't want her flirting with me.

I seen in the corner of my eye Louis shifting in his seat, I glanced over at him and he looked really annoyed. I smiled a little, maybe he was jealous. The whole way through the interview Claudia kept looking at me and smiling, I couldn't wait for the interview to finish so I could get out of there! "I'm afraid we've ran out of time but theirs still time for one last question!, Niall what are your plans for the rest of this year?" "Oh ya know, we've been working on some new songs for the next album so we'll be recording a lot and of course continuing with our world tour On The Road Again" Niall replied. "Well that's all we've got time for but a big thank you to the One Direction boys for coming along." We all smiled and waved as the cameras stopped rolling. Claudia was about to start talking when thankfully she was called away which meant we could finally leave!
