till I found peace

chapter 1:you

It was a cold, rainy night. I was watching the trees pass in the distance out of the car window, the music from the radio quiet, almost a murmur ms. puffy had just taken me from the hospital she is my social worker and has been for as long as I can. She has taken me from another bad family number 37 this one was by far my top 3 worst family so far I spent 7 days in the hospital because of them and the entire time everyone looked at me with such pity like I deserved it as I need it even tho I say I don't I finished my thought when ms. puffy ask me a question she asked if I wanted to go to a group home or she has a family lined up for an emergency placement I thought about it for a couple of minutes saying  my options then told her I might as well go to the emergency placement what could go wrong I go back to the hospital she sighed and said this is a good family I have known them for years and have even places a few other foster in there care their good people I just said sure and that was the end of the conversation it was quiet for a few minutes peaceful till I spoke up and asked if they new we were coming so late it's now 1:03 am she said yes and that they already have everything ready for when we get there I asked how long and she said 3 hrs till we get there and we fell back into a comferting silence  it's been about 2hrs since I got out of the hospital and all I can think is how long before I get back there how long will this family last will they get mad at me for making them stay up so late will my mind be racing as I look out the car window    till I calmed down and peaceful got lulled to sleep by the passing trees and the dark stars skys.
