In the garden we stand still
Watching and observing
He looks at me and I look at him
In the garden we stand still
He picks a flower, a beautiful flower
A carnation and rose
My spine got a chill
Would I have to pay him a bill?
For such beauty I shouldn't accept for free
Nor would the butterflies or bees
In the garden we stand still
Watching and observing
His smile bright and warm
His eyes shine like honey
I would care for him
Even if his clothes are torn
U love me don't u ?
I could see it in his eyes
And then he smiled
The smile in his eyes and the sound of his laughter
Beautiful and true
His eyes a gorgeous blue
He placed the flowers in my hair
I turn around for a moment
Gone. That boy is gone.
The gleam of the glass shone
The sting of tears in my eyes
I didn't even get to say my goodbyes
In the garden I stand still
Watching and observing
Trying to find him
