Making their way back to the hotel, William was smiling, he would have his personalized weapon. Which should give him the edge on the weapons department. Now all he needed to do was make a plan.

Without Charlie's knowing, he had secretly shown interest in a particular map that would give him the advantage. If the sinner wasn't an idiot, they would pick That one.

Charlie opened the door letting William inside with a smile.

Will: "Why thank you, princess."

It's always good to be polite to the well-mannered. After all, not many of those around hell.

They looked around, something felt off. There wasn't the usual chatter that surrounded the main hall, not the sound of Husker mixing another drink for himself nor the sound of Angels ranting, just quiet.

Even the radio was silent, and that unnerved her. Alastor always had something on, whether it be music or screams.

William on the other hand felt tense, he knew that only when Alastor was planning something the radio would turn off.

William: "Charlie, at 4 make everyone meet up here. We'll go over the rules for tomorrow"

Charlie: "Why?"

Will: "It would be unfair for us to use our contracts in the game and force some of them to lose without having the slightest chance.."

Charlie: "Ok. Seems fair."

William made his way over to the main room, now that it was quiet he sat down, pulled out a book from his jacket, and started reading.

Charlie: "Hey, what's that book."

William paused briefly before continuing to read.

Will: "It's a book about myths. I'm on the section about some monsters that are born in hell."

Charlie: "Like the hellborn?"

William: "No, these monsters are described as mindless and only care for the harming of everything."

Charlie: "They sound like the profaned."

William stops reading and turns to her confused.

William: "The profaned?"

Charlie: "Yeah, they only exist on the lower floors of hell. The lower you go the more there are."

William: "Why haven't I heard of them?"

Charlie: "Because they don't exist in the pride ring. And frankly, the Hellborn don't like to talk about them."

William: "Makes sense, are they like animals?"

Charlie: "No, more like sinners in their appearance but it depends on the floor they exist on. They take on the form of the hellborn living there but more corrupt or depraved. Like on the third ring, in there since hellhounds mostly live there, the profaned that exist are wendigo-like in appearance, just more horrific. At least that's what my uncles and aunts said."

William: "Uncles?"

Charlie: "The sins. they are like family to me. Although they are mostly busy running their rings."

William shrugged at that.

William: "You said they don't exist here. The profaned I mean. Why?"

Charlie: "I tried asking them but they didn't know."

William processed that. Monsters that mirror the horrific side of hellborn.

Charlie: "Anyways what else is in the book?"
