"....."

With a confused expression again, Cale tilted his head. The old man could say thanks to him, sure, but he didn't know why the old man had to bow to him.

" Uhh.... Yes, alright, don't worry about it. Come one, it'll hurt your back if you how for too long."

"Such a kind soul you are..."

His shoulders jumped when Cale heard the man call him a 'kind soul' and gazed at the man weirdly.

"Old man, I'm not kind at all. I'm trash. The trashiest you'll ever meet."

The old man looked at him weirdly when he said that and Grace shook her head at him, Cale felt attacked and offended and ignored Grace.

"Anyways....I'll put my horse first, you can go in."

"Yes, yes..."

As Cale watched the old man walk in to the Inn, he turned to face Grace after and she turned away from him.

At the corners of his lips a slight arch, barely visible to the eye, went down along with a slight crease on his brows.

It looked like Cale was pouting. How cute.

Grace took a peek at him and had a smug look before nudging him in the face again; a smile hooked on Cale's face again after.

Neigh-

Expressing her satisfaction and pleasure to Cale's warm touch, Grace smiled again and leans in more to him as Cale strokes and pats her gently.

Aaah... How nostalgic...

Grace's actions now were exactly like what Grace did as well in his past live. Cale loves patting and stroking Grace's mane and Grace loves it too.

When he took his hands off, Grace was dissatisfied and nudged at him for more which he laughed off.

"Come one Grace, let's get hooked first."

Neigh-!

"Hahahaa!"

Cale let out a cute chuckle before patting her one last time to satisfy her, a lead her to a tree near the Inn and tied her there.

Pursing his lips a bit, he didn't want to put Grace on a leash and tie her down however won't they get suspicious?

"Grace, stay here. Haa.... I don't wanna tie you here... When we're out the Inn how about I unleash you? You can't be comfortable with 'that' on right?"

The bridle and saddle Grace was wearing did not fit her at all and seemed so suffocating.

Neigh-

Grace let out an acknowledged snort and nods as Cale went closer to her.

" We can't do it now because there are some suspicious bastards. "

Snorting again, Grace nods in agreement, Cale smiled at it. Surely, Grace must be the smartest horse alive!

"Alright, you're such a good girl. I'll get going now. I will come checking on you!"

Cale did a small wave towards Grace as she snorts and stomps her forearm.

Foolish human.

Was what Grace thought before flipping her mane and facing away from Cale.

Clack.

" Old man, I'm here. "

The door closed as Cale passed through it and walked in the Inn. Immediately stepping in, he sees the bar and restaurant the old man talked about.
