TWS: Schizophrenia, schizophrenic episode, psych ward, swearing, not much thought put in, not proofread

Changbin lived in a world where reality blurred with shadows. Diagnosed with schizophrenia at the tender age of 13, his life became a maze of uncertainty and fear. Every day was a battle against the twisted whispers of his mind.

Attending a prestigious private school, Changbin navigated the corridors with a heavy heart and trembling hands. Tactile hallucinations sent shivers down his spine, making him feel as though unseen hands clawed at his skin. Visual hallucinations danced before his eyes, not just shadows lurking in corners but vivid apparitions that mocked his sanity.

On bad days, motor disturbances plagued him, rendering his legs weak and unsteady. Crutches became his companions, supporting him through the storm of his own mind. Yet, even with physical aids, the invisible chains of his condition held him captive.

His family, residing in a luxurious penthouse, showered him with love and support. They were his sanctuary in the tempest of his thoughts, a beacon of light in the darkness of his mind. Despite their wealth, their riches couldn't shield him from the demons within.

Amongst his circle of friends – Minho, Jisung, and Felix – Changbin found solace. They stood by him through the highs and lows, offering unwavering friendship in the face of his struggles. They knew of his condition and accepted him without judgment, a rare gift in a world that often shunned difference.

The triggers for Changbin's schizophrenic episodes were as varied as the shades of his hallucinations. Stress could ignite the flames of his condition, transforming his reality into a nightmare. Lack of sleep became a double-edged sword, both a cause and consequence of his torment. Yet, amidst the chaos, moments of clarity emerged like stars in the night sky, reminding him that hope still flickered in the darkness.

Through it all, Changbin fought a silent battle, a warrior against the shadows that threatened to consume him. Each day was a triumph, a testament to his resilience in the face of adversity. And though the road ahead was fraught with uncertainty, he walked it with courage, knowing that he was not alone.

As the bell rang, signaling the end of another school day, Changbin joined his friends at their usual spot by the fountain in the courtyard. Minho, ever the jokester, nudged Changbin with a mischievous grin. "Hey Schizo, ready to conquer the world today?"

Changbin rolled his eyes, a playful smile tugging at his lips. "Oh yeah, watch out world, here comes the master of chaos!"

Jisung chimed in, laughing, "Better watch your back, Changbin's hallucinations might just steal the show!"

Felix, always the peacemaker, interjected, "Come on, guys, let's not make light of it."

Changbin waved him off, still chuckling. "Nah, it's cool, Felix. We all know it's just banter."

Their banter continued as they walked home together, weaving through the bustling streets of the city. Changbin's crutches clinked against the pavement rhythmically, a constant reminder of his condition. But with his friends by his side, the weight of his struggles felt lighter.

Yet, there were times when their jokes unintentionally crossed a line. Like the time Minho made a wisecrack about Changbin's hallucinations during a particularly stressful exam, causing Changbin to withdraw into himself, his laughter faltering. But Minho quickly realized his mistake, apologizing profusely and offering words of encouragement. Within minutes, their laughter echoed through the halls once more, their bond stronger than ever.

Their friendship was built on a foundation of trust and understanding, where even the darkest moments were illuminated by the light of their camaraderie. And as they navigated the complexities of adolescence together, Changbin knew that with friends like these, he could face anything the world threw his way.
