"You two were together this whole time and you didn't even let me know?!" Jeonghan's eyes twitched as he folded his arms.

"Sorry, it got a little busy..." Mingyu gave a nervous chuckle.

"What?"

"Maybe save the chit-chat for later? We're already behind schedule." Koko interrupted.

"Right! Sorry!" Mingyu faced Koko.

"You do have the opening remarks ready, right?" Jeonghan asked ready to punch Mingyu if he said no.

"I was supposed to work on that last night but... Uhmm... Stuff happened. Do you want to do it?"

"N-No! Just go on stage and welcome them, that'll do!" Jeonghan was fearful of standing gin front of a crowd to give a speech.

And So Mingyu got on the stage with a mic as he began his speech. "Hello? Is this thing on? Can you guys here me from the back? Yeah? Okay, cool!

"Morning, everyone! I'm sure I've pestered you all enough to know what this even is for and why we're doing this. Now that it's finally here, congrats, you just have to listen to me ramble for one last time. We are here on behalf of Hope Rescue and Rehabilitation Center. We all know it as the humble shelter on to of Sunset Hill which, for decades, had recused and rehabilitated hundreds of animals...

"No name could be more fitting. They gave the helpless and abused animals a home when everything seemed hopeless. They continued to do so until the passing of Hope's founder and sole benefactor last year. Because of this Hope will be closing its doors. Given the circumstances, it is simply not feasible to keep the shelter going, at least not for the time being. Not even with the most generous of donations...

"Currently, Hope still houses several rescues. This is where we step in. We have to make sure that there remaining animals won't go back to the same circumstances they were rescued from. That's really the most we can do as a community. Let's continue giving them the love that Hope has given them and find—" Mingyu's eyes widened as he found Seungcheol with Chan in the crowd.

"T-They're gonna lose their house?!" Chan exclaimed interrupting the speech and grabbing everyone's attention.

"C-Chan..." Seungcheol blinked.

"No! I don't want that! Papa let's take them!"

"Chan, not too loud."

"B-But... I don't want them to be homeless! They're gonna be sad!"

"Han..." Mingyu turned to look at Jeonghan. "What was his name again? Cheol's son..."

"Chan. Choi Chan." Jeonghan smiled.

"I see..."

"Waah! But the doggies and kitties and piggies need a family too!" Chan cried.

"Yes, don't worry." Seungcheol comforted Chan.

Chan sniffed.

"You're absolutely right, Chan. Each one of them deserves a forever home and a loving family. Don't worry, we promise every single one of them, will find a home today. We'll make sure of that. Right, everyone?" Mingyu smiled speaking into the mic.

The crowd clapped. "Yeah!"

"It's okay don't cry now."

"We can do it!"

Mingyu stared at Seungcheol and Chan and couldn't hide his smile.
