The Former Genius Club:
Five best friends since Kindergarten split up in sixth grade after getting in a big fight. They were the nerds, the geeky kids, but they thought they were the coolest kids in school. They loved to read, and write, and adored science and anime, and no one could have been better friends than them. Until they broke apart when they started to realize that no one liked a nerd. No one else thought reading was "cool". No one else bothered to hang around them. So, they started to change, to make themselves better in other people's eyes.
Meet Kye, the nerd who never left. Kye was the one left behind, the one genius who never outgrew his love of science and math, and smartness. Kye missed his friends more than anything, but all he ever wanted was for them to be happy, and they were happy with their choice, and so, so was he. However, when he hears about a contest coming to their city that challenges genius's he's intrigued, and when he investigates, he finds that there is a reward of 10,000 dollars! Now, Kye is certain that this will be the perfect opportunity to get the gang back together, The Former Genius Club!
