- Cole is an only child among a family of orphan children.
- Cole met Percedal after Rubilax possessed him and attacked his village. He was sent to capture him until he realized he was an Iop and took pity on him. Instead of capturing him, Cole decided to travel with Percedal and grew fond of him ever since.
- Cole met Yugo during possessed Percedal's attack in Yugo's hometown.
- Cole tried to soothe Percedal with his magic during his fight with the Sadidas, but at the expense of his brush being destroyed.
- Cole's mother and father took refuge in the Sadida kingdom, eventually working there, and were even provided a home for their orphaned children. His mother is wary of Percedal, while his father doesn't trust him until S3.
