Part 22 - New objective

Neon : That's true. Also, that bullet is no ordinary bullet.

Anis : What makes you think that?

Neon : A little gunpowder elf inside the bullet told me so.

... No. No my mind, I won't allow to think about an image of what Neon said... Dammit! I can see a little fairy inside a bullet telling it's composition.

Anis : I like where you're going with this!

I think she's being sarcastic.

Rapi : ... And about Commander Lowell? Can we ask for help from him?

Anis : He is nice and we can trust him but I don't want to be too dependent on him

William : It's better we solve this problem ourselves.

I suppose i should reveal myself.

Lowell : Good morning everyone. I hear some noise on my way to you and then I heard my name. What are you talking about?

William : Oh hello Lowell. We are talking about the mystery of the bullet and the Central Government.

Lowell : I see, and did you find a lead?

Neon : I found out a person named Exia who told me about a facility on the surface that's comparable to the Central Government

Anis : ... Really?

Lowell : That's good. Do you want me to come along?

William : If you want, we can use some aditionnal help.

Lowell : Then I will-.

Xiao : <Attention, Lowell, Harold and Diana! You are urgently needed at Camp Alpha immediatly!>

Camp Alpha is the runway where we've encountered for the first time. Ours collegues have made great work on this.

Lowell : Sorry, William. I recieved a urgent order so I can't be with you, good luck on your mission on the surface.

William : Thank you, good luck you too with what you'll be doing.

I exit the Command Center and I head towards the coordinates who are on the surface. When I arrive, I see numerous soldiers, vehicles and aircrafts preparing for a big operation. I look around and I find Xiao in a tent looking at some maps and everyone sitting waiting for me.

Lowell : I'm here, Captain Xiao.

Xiao : Good, sit here, I will explain the details of the mission.

Lowell : Understood.

I sit on the chair and wait for the briefing to commence.

Xiao : Sorry for the sudden meeting, however it is an emergency mission. Miriel and her team has discovered an abandoned fortress with an access to the sea. It is now occupied by the Raptures, we are tasked to capture it and make it our HQ in the surface and to develop a maritime presence. Any questions?

Yujin raises her hand.

Xiao : Yes, Yujin?

Yujin : Why are we doing this operation? This will raises the awareness of our presence to the Ark and I have my doubts about the emergency of this mission.

Xiao : ...

... Oh dear... Please tell me this is not what I'm thinking.

Xiao : Director Mirinae... got into a debate about the pace of our mission with the others directors. I'm sure you can guess what happened next and the result of it.

Lowell : ... They have been talking about the slow advancement of our mission to Director Mirinae who got extremely displeased on this conversation. They wanted her to do something noteworthy, she accepted to shut the dicussion and now we are here to do that isn't that right, Captain Xiao?
