She is mainly close with artists who were involved in SM Entertainment as well, due to her being there most of the time for work. She has created friends by promoting with / or for them, like Hayoung from Fromis_9, who she makes choreo's and writes songs for from time to time. Solmi talks to lots of people, but it takes time for people to actually become friends with her. Solmi is a people pleaser, and takes great care in listening to and understanding others. It makes her a great friend to have, but takes time and effort to keep. Solmi has a busy schedule and likes to travel with her husband, and now child, so she has grown out of a few friendships over the years due to lack of communication.
