"Alright would you rather...have super speed but you age 10x faster than humans, or make a farting sound everytime you walk?" Saeri asked as yuta sat by her hospital bed, maki having left to find some snacks

"That's so unfair" Yuta sighed, "the farting one" He sighed, Saeri letting out a content hm

"You know yuta, you can ask about the whole suguru thing, I can tell it's on your mind"

"Whaat! Noo..okay maybe" He admitted "I just don't understand, why he'd do that? Especially to his five year old sister" Yuta frowned

"It made sense to him" She hummed

"When I was five, suguru and satoru went on a mission that practically flipped their ideologies, it started off slowly but suguru began to detest non sorcerers after that mission" she explained

"Eventually he came to the conclusion that he wanted to kill all non sorcerers, mum dad and I were non sorcerers so we were no exception" Saeri stated, covering her mouth and looking to the side

"He came over, had dinner, and I went to my room to find this stupid drawing in order to give it to him" She hummed, taking out a torn and crumpled child's drawing, yuta feeling his heart break

"Then I heard a squelch, followed by my mother's screams.." she recalled "and I was so confused and scared, so, I ran into his arms" She muttered "because they gave me comfort"

"But instead he stabbed me through the heart"

"If I'm going to make a world with no monkeys, my family can't be an acceptation" she said in a mocking voice

"He was so stupid" She scoffed "but I lived, and now I have a super cool scar, a curse, a cursed technique and sword" she grinned

"I'm now also known as the sister of the strongest curse user" She shrugged "so I don't usually bother telling people my last name"

"So is that why you hate jujutsu sorcerers?" Yuta asked

"Yeah" Saeri admitted "if the higher ups actually took time to set up systems to support young sorcerers after such missions instead of further isolating them and sending them on more missions, then cases like suguru wouldn't have happened" she muttered

"You'd think after him they'd learn but they didn't" She scoffed "even if you or I died we'd just be another number" She grumbled, feeling yutas hand snake over hers

Neither spoke, neither moved, they just stayed close to one another

That was until Saeri felt a familiar cursed presence
