CHAPTER 1: WAKE UP!

Hamda:Oy anas wake up bhai we have to do sehri!
Anas: Ok bhai!
Hamda: I will make Omlete
Anas: And Chai?
Hamda: no redlabel [The Tea Redlabel] is left bro and idk how to make Chai
Anas: alr m8
Hamda: Oi now lets eat
*they are eating peacefully*
*suddenly thunder storm happens*
Anas: Really?
Hamda: Happening in saudi?
*they go to sleep*
*alarm rings*
Anas:Abe! Wake up we are keeping roza which you always forget
Hamda: I know.
Anas: lets make idli!
Recipe: (you can skip this part!)

Ingredients:
- 2 cups of idli rice (parboiled rice)
- 1 cup of whole urad dal (black gram lentils)
- Salt to taste
- Water

Instructions:
1. Rinse the idli rice and urad dal separately under running water until the water runs clear.
2. Soak the idli rice and urad dal in separate bowls with enough water to cover them completely. Let them soak for at least 4-6 hours or overnight.
3. After soaking, drain the water from both the rice and urad dal.
4. Grind the urad dal in a wet grinder or a high-powered blender with some water until it becomes a smooth and fluffy batter. It may take about 10-15 minutes.
5. Transfer the ground urad dal batter into a large bowl.
6. Now, grind the soaked idli rice with some water until it becomes a smooth batter. It may take about 10-15 minutes as well.
7. Mix the ground idli rice batter with the urad dal batter in the large bowl.
8. Add salt to taste and mix well. The consistency of the batter should be thick but pourable.
9. Cover the bowl with a lid and let the batter ferment in a warm place for about 8-12 hours or until it doubles in volume.
10. Once the batter has fermented, give it a gentle stir.
11. Grease the idli molds with some oil or ghee.
12. Pour the batter into the idli molds, filling them about three-fourths full.
13. Steam the idlis in a steamer for about 10-12 minutes or until they are cooked through.
14. Once cooked, remove the idli molds from the steamer and let them cool for a few minutes.
15. Use a spoon or a knife to gently remove the idlis from the molds.
16. Serve the idlis hot with sambar, coconut chutney, or any other side dish of your choice
