• Backstory •

It has been decades since Lucifer and Alastor met, if you ask them before that they got married to each other, they wouldn't believe it, heck all of Hell wouldn't believe that those two actually fell in love.

It's the late 1900's when those two got married, not that many people were invited only trusted friends and family, namely, Rosie, Toddler Charlie and the Sins minus Mammon since he wouldn't keep his mouth shut if he knew.

After settling with their marriage life, they both wanted another kid, both being male they used a ritual to create one, some attempts later they managed to create one little girl and she was named 'Niffty' Charlie was very excited being a big sister and did her best to be one for Niffty.

Few years later, Niffty is now 6 with Charlie being the age of 10. Lucifer has been wanting to tell everyone, he was prepared and couldn't keep the secret anyone now that there's a child with him, he would ask Alastor if he's ready and he always answer with a 'not yet but we will tell them soon ' an sometimes it ends with an argument.

One day, Alastor came back with a terrible mood, he had to deal with Vox' weird confession and some sinners picking a fight with him, and to his luck, Lucifer was again asking him about revealing their marriage to everyone, not wanting to argue he of course said that they would do it later as he went to the kitchen to grab some tea so calm down.

Still Lucifer kept asking " Hon, please we have to tell them now, It's getting hard to keep it in with Niffty running around the palace, she even left the palace and went to the pentagram! Charlie and I have to- " but he was shortly interrupted by Alastor clawing the counter as he said " Lucifer, I've told you. We will tell them later "

Lucifer was now upset at this point " When is this later!? You've been saying that for how long! " he yelled, pointing at Alastor. Charlie and Niffty were going to the kitchen and stopped at the doorway to peak at their Fathers when they heard yelling.

" Luci, I don't have time for this " He said annoyed, he doesn't want to further talk about it but Lucifer still pushed it " You don't have time for what?! We need to talk about this for her safety! If people know she's the second princess of hell, people will back off " he explained still being mad.

" Lucifer you don't get it! Sinners will be more willing to kill her if they know she's a princess! " Alastor yelled back, he was just worried about their daughter's protection " Who in the right mind would try to attack a princess? The princess of all hell even " he argued back

" A lot of sinners Luci! A whole lot! You wouldn't know because you've been staying inside the palace making frivolous rubber ducks! " He quickly covered his mouth completely regretting his words, he let his anger get best of him. Lucifer looked hurt at his words, Alastor heavily sighed and said " Look I just- I- Luci look " he tried explaining but he couldn't, Lucifer was just now looking at the floor and crossing his arms.

It fell silent for a bit " Well fuck you that I actually try to spend time with my daughters unlike you who's away most of the time doing some stupid overlord bullshit " he flipped him off and rolled his eyes, not wanting to look at him anymore, Alastor just sighed loudly, this was gonna be an argument about them just insulting each other.

" Listen here, I don't really give a fuck about other people's opinion about us and like you said people will try to harm Nifft, we can protect her, nobody would mess with us either way " he explained trying to get him to agree with the reveal once again " Lucifer, it's not just that I have a reputation to-" he tried to explain his side but was quickly cut off " So it was just for your reputation? " the king asked, raising one of his eyebrows.

" No! Of course not- " the radio demon tried explaining again but got cut off instantly " Well if not, go ahead and pick, Your reputation or us? " It fell silent at this point, Alastor had a lump in his throat and was unable to think.

Lucifer looked more upset and disappointed " Are you fucking kidding me?! Really your fucking reputation is more important than our kids?! Than us?! "He shouted making his horns a bit longer " Dear that's not what- "

" Don't, Call me dear. Oh Father I thought you'd change " He said sighed and pinching the bridge of his non-existent nose " Still the same sinner you were before ". Now it was Alastor's turn to be even more upset :3

" You don't think I'm trying? " Alastor asked clenching his fist, Lucifer just scoffed and said " Well you act like- " " You don't think I'm trying to change?! You don't see my efforts I tried to put it for you?! " now both of them are mad.

Charlie saw them looking like they are about to beat each other up so quickly she dragged Niffty towards the great hall to distance her from them, she doesn't want Niffty to listen further. She then spawned Razzle and Dazzle and let them play with Niffty as distractions.

They had fun playing with their pets, Niffty chasing Dazzle around as Charlie kept hugging Razzle tightly. Eventually both Lucifer and Alastor came out of the kitchen and were in the great hall, they thought it was bedtime. Charlie stood up and brushed her dress a bit and went up to hug her dad (Lucifer) Niffty also did the same but to Alastor.

They looked at each other before Alastor bent down to pick up Niffty, she was cradled in his arms and was starting to doze off. They looked back at each other again when Alastor stood in front of him and backed away until he was a bit farther from him.

Charlie looked at her two dads, moving her head back and forth at them, she saw her Papa (Alastor) took off his ring and threw it to her Dad (Lucifer), he caught it and glared at him, soon later her papa turned into a shadow and dissapeared with Niffty.

She looked at her dad to see that he had a mix of Anger, sadness and irritation on his face before he sighed and looked down at Charlie, he picked her up and teleported to her room.

As she was placed on her bed she couldn't help but ask a question " Dad, why did Papa take his ring off? " Lucifer tucked her in and kissed her forehead " It's nothing my applepie, get some rest " she nodded softly before Lucifer turned off the lights and went out. Charlie closed her eyes and began to doze off.

Lucifer got to his room and closed the door he leaned to his door and slid down, he took the family photo he had on his pocket, he looked at it with guilty expression before he got mad and ripped it to half throwing each side somewhere, he got up and brushed his hair with his fingers before he laid in his bed. Those two can no longer stand each other so this was their best bet.
