Spike:
Early one morning, just as the Sun was rising.
I heard a maid singing in the valley below,
"O don't deceive me".
"O never leave me".
How could you use a poor maiden so?Spike hummed the familiar tune as he strolled through the graveyard... Somebody had to take care of the other Hellmouth! After all, Angel had brought him back, that had to mean something.
A rustle, a few steps away, then a sob. Spike knew that sob, he'd heard it so many times. That sob had broken his heart countless times, that's when he realised what he had been humming.
You never can believe that it's the person you've been waiting for just around the corner... You never can, until you see it.
Spike forwards then stopped, he had to be sure. He had to.
"What's wrong pet?" He asked and suddenly he realised, there was a reason he was back from the dead. And that reason was her, The Slayer.
