What's on the Menu? Part 1

Alani ignored the stares from the few girls in the room and approached her locker to put her combination in.

"You don't have to do that hermosa. "

"I know but I want to. It's the least I could do."

Dominik let out an appreciative hum.

"Did you make it to work okay?" He asked.

"Yeah I just got here," She said with an eye roll and a pout.

He let out a small chuckle. "Stop pouting," Dominik scolded playfully, already knowing she was without even seeing her.

"No I don't wanna be here, I wanna be with you." Alani grumbled out, tossing her duffle into her locker. Mercedes watched her through the mirror, wondering who she was talking to.

"You will be soon preciosa . It would be even sooner if you would just let me pick you up," He reminded her.

"Yeah, yeah whatever," She chuckled. "I'll see you tonight handsome."

"Okay see you tonight!" Dominik made kissing sounds into her ear that Alani happily repeated back at him through giggles before ending the call.

Alani slipped her phone into her bag before closing and locking away her belongings. The small smile on her face turned into a scowl when she turned around and noticed Mercedes watching her.

Fucking weirdo. She thought to herself before exiting the room.

Alani gripped Dominik's hand for dear life as they approached the table in the bar that sat his friends. Dominik picked up on her nervous energy the second they got in the car on the way there and honestly thought it was kinda cute.

Rhea and Monet sat across from each other at one end of the table with Finn and Damian sat next to one another on the same side as Rhea.

"What's up guys," Dominik greeted as Alani stood tucked into his side. "This is my girlfriend Alani. Alani that's Finn." He said gesturing to the shorter of the two with the full beard. "And this big guy is mi hermano Damian."

Damian locked eyes with the girl Dominik had brought to dinner and instantly recalled her as the dancer from Luxxe and tried to fight off the small frown that graced his face. It wasn't fast enough for Alani not to notice unfortunately.

She recognized him as well, knowing she had seen him a hand a few of times in the club, she recalled him being the one to ask for the dance for Dom in the first place. Alani was going to jokingly thank him for it, but the way he looked at her made her quickly abandon the idea all together.

"Hi, it's nice to meet you guys," Alani said shyly as Dominik pulled out the chair next to Monet for her to sit in and sat in the seat next to her. "Hey Rhea," She greeted with a small wave.

The trio returned her pleasantries as Monet shoved her. "Hello to you too."

"I was just with you for the last 6 hours," She said, shoving her back, making Rhea and Finn laugh.

"So!" Monet complained, playfully. She could tell from the moment they got to the table that Alani was nervous and was trying to get her to loosen up a bit.

"Hi Monet, it is truly so lovely to see you," Alani smirked with an eye roll before locking her arm in Dom's and moving closer to him.

"Aww hey girl!" Monet cheesed.

"It really is nice to meet you there lass," Finn began. "Dominik talks about you all the time and by that, I mean just once because you know the motherfucker doesn't talk." He teased making Alani laugh and Dominik frown.
