"I can't believe we finally hit 5 million subscribers on our YouTube channel," Jake exclaimed, excitement evident in his voice as we walked towards the tattoo parlor.
"Yeah, it's crazy how far we've come," Johnnie added, a huge grin on his face as he glanced over at me.
I smiled nervously, the reality of what was about to happen sinking in. We had made a deal long ago that when we hit 5 million subscribers, we would get matching trio tattoos. And now, the day had finally arrived.
As we entered the tattoo parlor, my heart started to race. I had always been terrified of needles and couldn't even tolerate pain very well. But I wasn't about to back out now, not after all the hard work we had put into building our channel.
Jake insisted on going first, his determination evident as he sat down in the chair. I filmed as the tattoo artist got to work, my stomach churning with nerves. Jake didn't even flinch as the needle penetrated his skin, a testament to his pain tolerance.
Next up was Johnnie, who grinned widely as he sat down in the chair. I passed the camera to Jake as he began recording and I watched as the tattoo artist carefully etched the design onto Johnnie's skin, her face a mask of concentration.
Finally, it was my turn. I sat down in the chair, my palms sweaty and my heart pounding in my chest. The tattoo artist, a kind-looking woman with gentle eyes, smiled reassuringly at me.
"Are you ready?" she asked, her voice calm and soothing.
I nodded nervously, feeling Jake's hand slip into mine, offering me much-needed support. The tattoo artist began her work, the buzzing of the needle filling the room. It was painful, a bit more than I had anticipated, but I forced myself to grit my teeth and bear it.
"You're doing great," Jake murmured, squeezing my hand in encouragement. I could hear Johnnie chuckling slightly as he recorded my torture, which made me smile a bit.
I felt tears prickling at the corners of my eyes as the pain grew more intense, but I refused to give up. I felt a lot of discomfort and the needle poked and prodded into my skin. The tattoo artist must of noticed my distress and offered me a break, but I shook my head, determined to see it through to the end. Jake gave my hand another small squeeze, as Johnnie made some kind of dad joke which made all of us cringe and laugh.
And finally, after what felt like an eternity, it was over. I looked down at my completed tattoo, a sense of pride swelling within me. I had done it, despite my fears and doubts.
We paid the tattoo artist and left the parlor, our matching trio tattoos proudly displayed on our skin. As we walked back home, I couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. We had reached a milestone together, and our friendship had only grown stronger because of it.
"We should post this on Instagram guys." I said, as we all lined our arms up together. I snapped the picture and posted it on my Instagram, tagging Jake and Johnnie in the process.
