As you can guess, Goober isn't your typical cat
In fact, he's not a cat at all
I figure he's some sort of alien species or something, but he takes the form of a cute lil cat. My friends decided his lore on my old group chat. He fights disfigured orphan children in a fight club with a squash as his only weapon
I wasn't the one to make this up, I swear...
He's a very spooky guy, and I drew up a quick ref sheet of his true and natural form during Seminary

I headcanon that Danny came home from work one day, and Goober was just chilling in his house. Then Danny decided to just let Goober stay (but with careful supervision)
Also, Goober stores his long tongue in the back of his throat like the Hubba Bubba gum rolls. I tried drawing that out once, but it didn't turn out so good
