itan private high school was a pretty weird school- everyone was all different. over energetic, obsessed- everyone was pretty much different.

I am pretty much the average Joe here- I still don't get how I could get accepted into this school. people who come here have to go through an interview. I'm pretty sure they said something like "will change over time".
class time- worst time. well this is the first day - maybe it would be easy. they introduced themselves- but komi couldnt speak. she dashed to the chalkboard- everyone was using cameras and microphones (yep, creeps) she drew her name on the board- 古見祥子 everyone was flustered.
------------------ class has ended, tadano fell asleep the whole lesson anyway. when he woke up he was left in the class alone with komi. " meow" tadano woke up from sleeping. both of them got shocked. "i didnt- hear anything you said " well that was a stupid response. of course he heard it. komi immediately ran out from her seat
"WAIT-"
"are you.. unable to speak?? -" brain: WHAT QUESTION IS THAT? SHE'S POPULAR ON THE FIRST DAY OF COURSE SHE CAN SPEA- ...
komi wrote on the chalkboard "yes- how did you know"
"oh-- I guessed by how you reacted in class"
she wrote. "when I was in junior high, it was hard, especially at lunch where I would sit alone. I couldn't speak. I didn't make any friends. "
"my voice wouldn't come out. '
" no matter how much I tried. "
"I'm sorry for keeping you here, you can leave now,
goodbye"
she erased the writing. "komi? " she nods.
"what is your dream"
she wrote again, "making 100 friends"
"don't laugh, please"
"that's.. "
"if you want I can help"
"i can be your first, and help with 99 others"
komi looked at him
"really? " she wrote
"why not? "
komi was about to leave
"Isint the weather nice? "
the whole chalkboard, filled with writings and drawings from that one question. tadano had learned that she really- REALLY- likes cats, born on Christmas, a lot more to fit on here.
