He had always believed that grown-ups shouldn't cry, they should be strong - but all he wanted to do at that moment was cry his eyes out. He sat by her grave and tried to imagine life without her. It seemed impossible to go on without her presence, for she was what filled all his days with laughter and joy. She was there through it all, for as long as he can remember, always making him feel safe and secure. She was what started his day and what ended it . At that moment it felt like the air was being sucked out of his world, like the sun would never shine again. As he sat by her grave, images of them together raced through his mind for what feels like hours. Memories of them singing together like fools and laughing at the lame jokes together. It seemed like just yesterday she was with him while he rode his bike for the first time, broke his first tooth and even when he made his first new friend. These memories are only existent in his mind. They had a connection that no one else could share. An irreplaceable bond.

Stay strong was the only coherent thought that could form in his head, but how? How could he possibly stay strong? He regretted not calling her every day just to hear her soft , kind voice. He regretted not listening to her advice and acting like he didn't care, when deep inside he knew she was always right. No matter how hard he tried he could never express how much he appreciated what she had done for him, he wished he could say "Thank you, I love you" one last time and demonstrate how apologetic he was for all the trouble he might have caused. She was the most important person to him, his idol, his everything, even when he didn't show it. The one person that will always be on his mind and more importantly in his heart. She was his mother.

This is kinda the first thing I have ever written for entertainment, not school. I know its short . Comments and opinions would mean a lot :)
