Chapter - 31

Ab jaan lutt jaaye, ye jahaan chhut jaaye

"That's not fair papa . You are cheating ." Rudraksh and Pratham said to their father who being on the same team as them was supporting their wives in cheating rather than helping them win .

"You are helping them cheat . You all are not playing fair ." Pratyaksh cried out loud only to get silenced by his mother's slack on his head .

"Everyone in this family is on the other side then why did we even distribute teams in the first place ?" Pratham asked .

"It's not our fault that they don't love you ." Riddhima said high fiving Prisha making everyone giggle while the three sulked .

Skip to night ~

Right now Rudraksh was outside in the lawn since Riddhima was busy with the ladies . When he noticed a figure coming out in a beautiful white kurti embellished with the beautiful chikankari and with a satin dupatta .

Riddhima had now also came out in the lawn but little did she know that Rudraksh was already there . She went ahead and sat on the swing in the lawn and swung herself until her peace was disturbed by Rudraksh holding the swing preventing it from moving forward .

Riddhima opened her eyes and looked back only to find him there holding the swing back . She smiled at him making his heart flutter.

"May i ?" He asked looking into her eyes .

"Now you may ." She said changing her position now sitting with her back sat arched on the swings rest . Now her whole eyes were on him and his whole world was with her .

He swung her like that a few times with her looking at him without missing a beat smiling the whole time with her eyes until a little idea came in her mind .

"Come here ." She said and he obeyed her without missing a minute and came towards her .

"Did you perhaps like the way I was swinging the swing ?" He asked with his hands on the swings back preventing it from moving and due to this his face came close to her with her unsteady breaths fanning on his hand . She got up and made him sit on the swing and then sat back and then laid her head on his lap .

"I did , but i prefer it this way more ." She said making him smile out wide .

He patted her head and swung the swing with his legs were slowly and steadily .

"It feels so good , doesn't it ?" She asked making him smile before answering .

"Even if you ask i won't be able to tell you what this moment means to me or what every moment with you means to me because it's indefinable in every single language ." He said making her smile even with her eyes closed .

"And even if i knew that i would have to go through all that things i went through again just to get a glimpse of you . I would do it without even thinking for a second ." He said making her get up and look at him with their faces almost on the brim of touching .

"Itna pyaar karte ho tum mujhse ?" She asked with her hand on his chin .

( "You love me that much ?" )

"Agar yeh bhi batana pada toh meri mohabbat pe sawal uth jayenge ." He answered with eyes stuck on her face .

( "If i have to answer this too then questions will be raised on my love for you ." )

"You have no idea what you do to me , Rudraksh . Not even a split . I lose all my senses whenever you come in front of me ." Riddhima said looking into his amber eyes and then laid back again on his lap .

"I doubt that because only i know what you do to me and I am sure that your love for me is undying but my love for you is an obsession . Be it your brown eyes that look hazel in the sun with a hint of Amber in the moonlight or be it your smile that makes me feel like I have found the essence of life or is it that mole under
your left eye or is it Your heart that is so pure that anyone who breaks it shall be punished . But all in all its you who makes me the man i am . Never did I think that I would turn into this mad man who would become like a living dead just to get a glance of his lover or just one word from her intoxicating tone ." Rudraksh said looking at Riddhima but earning no response from her he found that she was asleep . He smiled and then picked her up in his arms and took her upstairs .

He laid her down on the bed but as soon as he was about to take his had out he got pulled back .

"So i made you mad in my love huh , Mr kapoor . I think that i committed a serious offence ." She said smiling cheekily while he mentally facepalmed himself being in disbelief because of her tactics .

"I thought you fell asleep , Riddhima ." He said making her smile before she wrapped her hand around his neck .

"Nah i just wanted you to carry me up ." She said smiling .

"You could have just asked me . I am anyways always looking for a chance to be you up ." He said looking at her .

"I know and that's the reason I wanted it to be a surprise . By the way don't you think that i committed a very big crime by leaving you and making you mad for me later ?" She asked and he answered back knowing that she was upto something from her cheeky smile .

"I do think so . I mean you broke a poor guy's heart by leaving him and then ignored him after making him go insane for you . Poor him." He said playing along .

"Then don't you think that i should be punished for what I did ?" She said looking at him just to look at his expressions which for sure were a treat to her eyes . She laughed out loud at his expression while he maintained his straight serious face .

"You are really enjoying this , aren't you ?" He asked making her smile .

"Very much so ." She answered making him laugh too .

"Then how about this ?" He said making her frown only to tickle her miserablely .

He tickled her making her laugh out loud feeling ticklish .

"You ." She said and then charged on him with the closest thing that she could find and that was her pillow .

She threw it at him only for him to catch it making her sulk . She threw all the pillows that were there on their bed but only one managed to hit him out of six .

She was about to get up and get more pillows from the couch but he pulled her to him from her wrist making them both fall on the bed facing each other . They both looked at eachother once and started laughing rather than nagging about getting hurt because that's what love is you laugh and smile even i tough moments because you know that even the toughest moments will all turn into easy ones with that one person .

"You look so funny ." Riddhima said laughing out loud .

"Yeah anyone would after having six pillows launched at them ." He said making her laugh even more .

"But I like this funny look of yours ." She said poking his nose .

"If it makes you laugh so much then I am ready to look funny the whole time , mi lord ." He said making her hide her head in his chest .

She held onto the hem of his tshirt with his one palm on her back and the other one her waist . As the moonlight hit their faces and the wind bloomed their lives with every passing minute peace found a new way , an essence and even though home can't be a person but for them they were each other's home .
