Hope Armstrong

Hope Armstrong was close to the end of her nursing training when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbour in December 1941. She quickly finished her training joining the nursing corps before graduating from Bowman Field, Kentucky from their new flight nurse program. She followed in her brother, Hugh's, footsteps to join the air war, joining the 806th Medical Evacuation Squadron is based in Berkshire. She first met Ruth when she joined her in England and the two soon became firm friends, taking to the skies together.

Hugh Armstrong

Hugh was training as an engineer before Pearl Harbour. He quickly answered the call and trained as a pilot joining the 100th Bomb Group flying B-17 Flying Fortress' across Europe. He is a kindhearted man who had a deep love and admiration for his sister who flies alongside him. He's very good at boosting morale and will always be ready to have a laugh and a joke. He also gets his fellow pilots involved in multiple baseball games because he'd always loved the sport and it really brings them all together.

Ruth Morgan

Ruth Morgan was a junior high English teacher when the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor in December of 1941. As months went by and more and more of her friends and colleagues joined the Nurse's Corps, Ruth felt like she could be doing more for her country. So, in May of 1942, she became one of the 70,000 American women to join the war effort and become nurses. Following her basic medical training, she was selected to become part of the new Flight Nurse program at the AAC School of Air Evacuation at Bowman Field, Kentucky, even though she was unsure of her ability.

Frank Martin
Frank Martin joined the war effort shortly after Pearl Harbour, leaving his fiancée Grace back in New Jersey and taking to the skies in his C47 and transporting wounded troops to safety. He is very protective of the girls, always looking out for them.
