For the past three hours, I had been roaming endlessly for an ideal date dress. I tried on the last two dresses for the third time, not sure which one suits me better.

Okay, black it is.

I blew my cheeks one more time before confirming it to the two women who had been accompanying me in choosing the outfit. "I think I'll take the black one"

The woman gave me a little smile before nodding.

"It looks good. I look good" I repeated that affimation to myself a few times as I spun on my heels, twirling the beautiful black dress I was wearing.

I checked my phone and two text messages popped up right away.

My lips curled into a smile subconsciously  at the little expression at the end of the text. I hearted the last message and checked the time. 6:53 pm.

Not much time before I heard a car parking at the front of my apartment gate. I looked at my reflection in the mirror one last time before heading out.

A black Range Rover stood gloriously before the gates. A bouquet of tulips adorned his grasp which he extended towards me as I walked to him.

The black suit and his signature waves suited him so well. Almost like falling in love all over again.

"Your favourite" a smile twisted the corners of his lips as he spoke. The scent of his cologne lingered on the paper as I took it from him. My cheeks wore a natural crimson shade under the artificial ones I had wore.

He turned and widened the car door to allow me to get inside. I took his extended arm and got inside the car and he followed me. We could swear we saw the driver flashing a smile for a second.

The ride started off quiet. But it was good silence. They both felt nervous.

Yuri's eyes wandered outside, taking in the sight of Seoul. The city lights shone on her skin, making her look like a fairy in his eyes.

Her eyes met his, which were already on her for the very beginning. She was his favourite image after all.

Yuri shifted in her seat, bringing her body a bit closer to his. She could feel his minty breath brushing on her face as she rested her head on his shoulder.

Dongwook could feel his muscles relax when she did that. It felt so comforting. She even looked much sleepy. So he decided to run a hand through her hair to make it a bit more comfortable for her.

Yuri felt like melting into his touch. But she could also feel herself drifting away to sleep. Maybe no coffee for the past eight hours wasn’t very helpful to the situation.

How long am I gonna keep running away from sleep anyway? Maybe it won’t be so bad if I take a little nap.

Ring. Beep. Ring. Beep. Ring.

The ringing sounded almost defeaning at that point.

The next thing she knew when she opened her eyes, she was staring at the ceiling again. And the ringing sound felt almost defeaning then.
