Chapter XVII

One week later
I've been doing everything in my power to take my mind off of him. Hence the position I'm in now or the position I was in 5 minutes ago before I rolled off of Bodhi. We are both panting with sweat.
" You no he would kill me if he found out we were hooking up"
" Well then don't let him find out Bodhi you can do that right" I say as I run my hands under his jaw. Maybe I was strategic when picking. Maybe I wanted it to hit hard when he found out. But Bodhi is hot so it's a win win. Of course the thought is cut off with a knock at his door. We've been keeping this affair strictly in his room because Violet would find out in a matter of seconds because we are roommates.
The knocking doesn't stop but he doesn't make a move to go get it that is until we heard
"Bodhi let's go, we have a meeting" The voice is of the guy I've been trying my hardest to erase.
He looks at me in pure terror like he knows if we get caught he and I are dead.
"Fuck Nora what do we do"
"I don't know answer the door" I say completely unfazed
I stay laying wrapped in covers. He slowly stalks to the shirtles looking like he just fucked with his ruffled hair and sweat running down his body.
He slowly opens the door just enough to cover me in his bed from the outside view.
" Whats up Xaden"
"Your late Bodhi '' He speaks in an angry tone.
"Yeah I was busy, give me 10 " he says as he is slowly trying to close the door but Xaden stops it with his foot.
"Who is your whore who keeps taking up your time"
That's when my attitude starts to rise full of anger and annoyance. I slip out from under the covers as I continue to listen to the heated conversation. I am only in my underwear as I stalk forward as I get into Xadens view. When he saw me In my underwear in his cousin's room his whole body shifted.
"I'm the whore Xaden and if he says give him 10 minutes then give him 10 minutes" I say in a full blown attitude with my arms crossed.
Bodhi as if on cue slams the door shut and looks at me with wide eyes.
" What the fuck are you doing Nora do you want me to die"
"Oh please he isnt going to kill you"
"Nora you answered the door in your underwear"
" you are so fucked Nora" Zyges speaks in my head
"Fuck off" I think not the time
"He called me A WHORE"
"Oh my gods lord help me Nora he is going to kill me".
"You will survive" I say as I start getting dressed. Bodhi is pacing back and forth like a Nervous Nelly.
"Do you need me to calm you down" I say creeping up to him
"Nora now is not the time for that"
"Oh I was going to punch you in the noise and make you pass out but if that's what you want we can do that too". I chuckle as I reach for the hem of my shirt.
He looks at me and shakes his head as I start to tie my combat boots. As I reach the door he grabs my hand
"Nora he might still be out there"
"Let him be"
As I opened the door Bodhi was right standing with his muscles clenched leaning on the wall with his arms crossed with those onyx eyes filled with hate and anger.
"Good morning" Is all I said as I walked out the door and started my walk to class. It was short lived because I'm not even two steps in and he grabs my arm and pulls me to him.
I turn and still see Bodhi standing by the door like it is protecting him.
Pathetic is all I can think of the fact he is of the same bloodline as Xaden.
Bodhi speaks up " She seduced me Xaden"
I just shrug my shoulders because he isn't completely wrong but I feel Xadens hand tighten around my wrist.
But then I remember Xaden had the nerve to call me a whore so with my free hand I spun and slapped him across the face.
"You called me a whore"
"Well Nora I didnt think you where the one fucking my little cousin"
"He's not that little" I spit out
" Xaden she has a death wish" Bodhi spats out
In one swift motion I am back in Bodhi's bedroom with Xaden and Bodhi and the door slammed shut.
"Fuck my life" I say in a hushed whisper tone.
I move out of Xadens grip and I go to sit on the bed and take my shoes off. Might as well get comfortable I thought.
I am now smothered by testosterone and I am now not the concern of Xadens wrath. He turns so he's looking at his cousin with something in his eyes I can't tell.
"Why her" Is all he says
" Come on Xaden have you looked at her she's hot why wouldn't I"
"Out of every women in this god forsaken college you picked her"
I'm sitting there like if I don't move they will think I disappeared.
"I don't understand the problem Xaden" Bodhi speaks with anger bubbling over.
I speak against my better judgement "hes just pissy Bodhi because Hes stuck with me because our dragons are mated and now everytime he looks at me he only will see you fucking me" I speak in a still tone but then my anger gets the best of me.
"Or is it because we are set to be married that's why you're mad Xaden".
Both of their heads turned to me full of shock but Xadens stance didn't falter.
"What" Bodhi choked up
" Nora how do you know"
As I slowly stand up from the bed and make my way to him, we are both head to head.
" as your future wife, I feel like your attitude is repulsive"
I spit those words out and I make my way to leave and slam the door behind me. I can hear arguing even though the door is shut, and I am now a few feet away. I briskly walk to battle briefly and slide into the seat next to Violet.
" Where have you been Nora?"
" you don't even wanna know".
She just chuckles and we focus on the lecture
