Unique part 3

"So I don't think I've seen you around at school or even in the neighborhood?" I heard her ask and I replied

"Oh well our family moved here during the summer what school are you at?" She was looking at me the whole time and said:

"Timber Heights, it's the only one in the city unless you go to the all girls" I smiled at the thought of going to school with her

"Well I guess I'm going there too" she looked up at me and smiled back.

"So which jake are you taking there? The weird one or the gentleman?" I frowned slightly

"Well there's a third Jacob and he's called the school-Jacob, I'm a good boy at school" I felt myself wink at her and she giggled.

~~ Teesha's POV ~~

He winked at me and I couldn't help giggling, we still had linked arms which made things even harder to stay serious. I looked down at his feet, and I guess out of nerve, he did too. He was wearing black vans with a brown stripe and soft grey jeans.

Then I looked at his chest, he was wearing a worn out red t-shirt with some sort of graffiti writing on it. He followed my eyes and once meeting them he puffed out his chest to try and look tuff, I burst into laughter and then stopped at the sound I had made. I hate my laugh. He just smiled.

"You have a good laugh" I felt myself blush

"No I'm serious it's cute" he looked at me and realized I was embarrassed.

"I don't like my laugh" he just stopped for a second and motioned me to hold his hand.

~~ Jacob's POV ~~

I got her to hold my hand and said in a posh voice

"Don't judge yourself for things others haven't judged you for darling" and I saw her smirk and she looked into my eyes as if to thank me and then ran off. I heard her scream

"YOUR HUMOR IS AWFUL!" my first reaction was to chase after but she was too fast.

So, what I did, was, pretend to twist my ankle and make a fake 'scream in pain' sound and fell to the ground holding my foot. She immediately stopped and spun around, her mouth falling open as she ran towards me.

I tried not to smile but I must be pretty good at acting because she really believed me. She stopped at the ground beside me and asked if I was ok while stroking my shoulder. I smiled because it was the only thing I could do. When she saw me smiling she let out a puzzled "huh?" and realized it was all a fake.

"Why would you do that you got me scared that I hurt you!!" I burst out into laughter and she hit my chest and turned around with her arms crossed against her chest.

~~ Teesha's POV ~~

I can't believe he would trick me like that. I guess he didn't know how sensitive I get if someone gets hurt and I always blame it on myself 'cos it makes me feel better.

He sat up behind me but I kept my back to him, my arms still crossed. I can be pretty stubborn when I feel like it. I heard him whisper in my ear

"I'm sorry" but I had to keep the girly ness in. I had to hold it in a little longer, I wanted to see what he did, though I was so close to smiling. He tapped me on the shoulder but I turned even further away from him.

"I was just joking around, I'm sorry" I stayed silent.

He was acting pretty relaxed seeing we had only known each other for about an hour. I asked him in a slightly frustrated voice

"Why are you so laid back around me when we have only known each other for like 60 minutes?" He stood up, walked around me and sat down in front of me but I still didn't make eye contact.

~~ Jacob's POV ~~

I replied now staring at her but she didn't look back at me

"I have a habit of making myself comfortable with new people when they seem like they are comfortable with me." I saw her look up for a second but when we made eye contact, she look back at the ground. She mumbled

"Maybe you got too comfortable" she frowned and kept silent when I remembered something.

~~ Teesha's POV ~~

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw him pick something out of his pocket. He said not to look at it until I got home while he handed me another one of his notes. He stood up and offered me his hand saying that he was going to walk me home.

I thought for a moment, dad was at work, mum would be shopping and my sister has probably gone to her girlfriends'. I grabbed his hand and he pulled me off the ground and we walked home in silence.

We walked back to her house without saying a word, the whole time I was thinking of a cute way to say goodbye.

~~ Teesha's POV ~

When we got to my house he stopped walking, he had already let go of my hand a few minutes ago. We looked into each others eyes and in my head I was forgiving him.

It looked like he slightly nodded and held out his right hand offering to shake mine. I gave him my hand and we shook and I smiled, he lifted his hand and spun me around. Once I had let go of his hand he looked at his watch and counted down from five, four and at zero there was another bang.

I screamed and he smiled slightly and apologized for no other reason than for my comfort. He said

"Oh yeah dad told me that there would be another bang to 8:40 this morning and I like to count down." He held my hand again and said goodbye. I smiled sadly at the thought of leaving him.

"I'll see you at school then?" I finally said.

"Yep can't wait I love school!" He said sarcastically.

I giggled and he slowly began walking away not taking his eyes off me. I waved and walked backwards towards my house. He waved back and was soon out of sight.
