I nervously fiddled with my hands, was it a good idea to come to this party? I'm currently stuck in this hot, cramped closet. With my rival, Shadow the Hedgehog. I was invited by Knuckles to come to a big party that his girlfriend was hosting. I think her name was Rouge, she is one of Shadow's best friends. I couldn't refuse the offer because all of my other friends were going. So I prepared myself, I knew that I and Shad's dislike for each other would cause problems. My objective was to stay away from Shadow, and if we interact, I have to try not to be annoying. That was my plan at least, it was working for the majority of the party, I kept my distance from Shadow. But life decided it would not go my way. Rouge decided that we should play some party games and sat us all on her living room floor. We started playing truth or dare, never have I ever, would you rather, then eventually seven in heaven. Someone would spin the bottle and whoever the bottle landed on they would go into Rouges' big walk-in closet. First, it was me and Tails, we just joked around and talked about Tail's crush. Then it was Blaze and Silver, I'm pretty sure they kissed. Then it was Blaze and Amy, probably gossiping. Then it was Rouge and Knuckles. Espio with Cream, I know for a fact that they played dress up because Espio came out glamoured up in a pink dress. Then Charmy and Vector, Charmy came out giggling about how weird Vector's crush was. Eventually, it was my turn to spin the bottle, I set my fingers by the base and spun it, it went on for a few minutes. As I looked around the circle I could see knuckles following it with his eyes, Tails was looking between the point of the bottle and me, Amy was hopeful that it would land on her, Blaze didn't care and was having a conversation with cream, Espio just sat looked bored, Charmy was buzzing with excitement, Vector was still trying to get his blush down, Sliver had an odd look on his face, Rouge was busy doing her nails. My heart was pounding with slight anticipation as the bottle's spin slowed down. My heart dropped when it came to a stop, right in front of Shadow, his eyes glared at me with a burning passion. That's how I eventually ended up in Rouge's walk-in closet with Shadow.
I fidgeted my fingers, not wanting to do or say anything that would upset the black and red hedgehog in front of me. I never really liked small places, some might say I have claustrophobia. Rouge's closet isn't by any means small but it wasn't that big either, it could fit two Mobians comfortably. But the tension was nothing but uncomfortable, thick and heavy.
"Stop that, it's distracting" Shadow barked, I immediately stopped and looked him in the eyes.
"Well I'm sorry, but there's nothing to do here" I growled back, stepping closer to him, I was practically in his face. We were chest to chest.
Shadow shoved me against the wall, glaring down at me. "This is all your fault"
"It's all my fault! That's cheap, I've been avoiding you the whole time"
"Why" Shadow said softly, I never knew it could be that soft.
"Why?! I'm avoiding you because you hate me" Shadow had a flash of emotions cross his eyes.
"I don't hate you..." He said, sadness clearly in his voice.
"You don't hate me?" I was confused, like really confused.
"It's actually the opposite, just don't want to accept these feelings"
"What do you mean?" Was Shadow really suggesting what I think he's suggesting?
"I like- No, I love you... Sonic" My body was pressed firmly, pinning me to the wall. "I've been holding back these urges"
"Urges?"
"Let me show you"
Shadow leaned, his lips ghosting over mine, and he licked my lips. I gasped at the feeling, Shadow used it to his advantage and slipped his tongue in. Shadow brought his hands to rest on my waist, giving it a hard squeeze. His tongue was gently caressing mine. His teeth were very sharp, he could easily pierce my lips. He was surprisingly gentle, softly nibbling. I pushed the palms of my hands against his chest to break the kiss.
