~~Chapter 6.~~

Haruto POV:

I place her hand in mine, and roll on my side, staring at her. She's still gazing up at the ceiling, staring at noting, until she feels my hand slip into hers. Sora turns her head to look at me, before rolling on her side, too. I smile at her softly. She just stares into my eyes. I frown a little.
"What's up?" I ask, looking a little concerned. Does she like the hand holding? Does she not? I swallow and start to sweat a little, then let go of her hand. I sit up, and get off her bed. Slowly, I begin to walk towards her bedroom door. She sits up.
"Where you going?" She tilts her head and folds her arms.
"Uh, just back to my room for a while." I sigh and open the door. I can see the disappointment in her eyes when she nods.
"Oh, okay then." She lay back down, and before I leave her room, I pick up the glass of water. 
"I'll take this, though." I smile, before walking out, closing her door behind me. 

Back in my room, I'm laying on my bed, face down trying to sleep. I check the time on my phone. 2:26AM. I groan and pull the pillow over my head. 10 minutes later and I still can't sleep. Sora knocks on my door and walks inside.
"I can't sleep." She looks at me. I sigh and sit up.
"Yeah, me neither." 
Sora looks at me and frowns.
"Can I come in?" 

I raise an eyebrow and stare at her. 
"Are you sober?"
"...Yes."
"Alright, then." I sigh sharply and nod, allowing her to come inside. I scoot over and make some room for her on the edge of my bed. She sits down next to me and looks at me.
"Are you sober?" She asks
"A little."
"I'll take that as a no." She sighs. "Why'd you do that? Earlier." Sora looks at me and furrows her eyebrows. I shrug.
"Dunno." I say. She groans and buries her face in her hands. I chuckle at her moody attitude and lay back, my hands behind my head. Sora glares down at me and I give her a teasing pout. She rolls her eyes and flips me off. I chuckle. "Did you really have to do that? It hurts my feelings, y'know?" I tease her. She rolls her eyes again.
"Shut up."
I grin. This is quite amusing to me. I laugh. 
"What's so funny about this?" She glares. I shrug.
"Oh, come on now, princess." I continue to get under her skin. Sora clenches her fists.
"You're VERY annoying when you're drunk. And don't call me princess, for fuck sake." I giggle.
"Ooh, princess got an attitude." I sit up and poke her cheek teasingly.
"Stop." She sounds irritated. This is even more fun than I thought. 

I sigh and eventually stop teasing her.
"Okay, okay. I'll stop teasing you, princess." I try to hide a grin. Sora doesn't look pleased at all.
"I'm seriously going to punch you. You're so annoying." She glares down at me coldly with her deep purple eyes. I sigh deeply.
"If I'm so annoying like you say, then get out." I shrug. She shakes her head, her tone shifting slightly.
"No.." 

I raise my eyebrows, slightly shocked by the answer.
"N-no?" I ask, looking at her. She nods and folds her arms
"M-mhm. No." I could tell she was a bit nervous, so I raised an eyebrow. 
"You alright? You seem nervous.." I tilt my head and she nods.
"I'm fine." 
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, Haruto. I'm fine. Just stop bugging me." She frowns. I sigh.
"Just checking." I furrow my eyebrows and lay back down. She lay down next to me, and stares at me. "The hell you staring at?" I ask. She shrugs.
"You."
I frown.

"Ha ha, funny." I roll my eyes. Sora glares at me. 
"You seem sober enough to speak tidy." She mentions. 
"I've been talking tidy this whole time, asshole." I mutter. She snorts. Rolling my eyes, I fold my arms.
"Mhm.." She sits back up and stares at me. I sit up, staring back at her.
"What's that look for?" I blink a few times at her. She swallows and looks down. "Hm..?" I look at her with concerned eyes, and move closer to her. "Are you...Okay, Sora?" I ask, placing my hand on top of hers. She looks up, and swallows again before nodding. I notice that she's avoiding eye contact, so I use my free hand and place it just under her chin, moving her face up to look at me.

Then, the most unexpected thing happened...
