"I've seen it." Naruto pouted

"Okay. Now take a second look." Jiraiya said he recoiled back and added the same swirl, he painted on Naruto's palm

"What am I looking at?" Naruto asked

"Well, I don't think it's going to help a whole lot if I explain to you right away. But the first time you looked at this paper, your eyes just glanced at the whole thing, am I right?" Jiraiya said getting into the next lesson

"Probably."

"And what about the second time you looked?"

Naruto stared at it, intently.

"Most likely the point in the middle?" Jiraiya gestered to the swirl point

"Any time that a person's eyes gaze on a blank sheet of paper, they don't focus where to look. The eyes just wander the page. But if you put even a dot on it, the mind is drawn there. You're then concentrating on a single point. And with that focus comes spiritual stability, letting you tap into unimaginable power." Jiraiya said

You look down at Naruto deflated rubber ball. He managed to puncture a hole in it, but it didn't explode.

"When you finally broke open the hole in the rubber ball, I'm sure you must have been trying desperately to gather the chakra you needed in the palm of your hand." Jiraiya said

"Uh, yeah, that's right!" Naruto exclaimed

"When you concentrate, you draw out power. But without some sort of target, concentration can be difficult, hence, that mark." Jiraiya pointed

Naruto took awhile and look at it.

"Now, listen, Naruto. From now on, when you're storing up power in your right hand, make sure that you concentrate only on that mark." Jiraiya said

"Concentrate. All right! I guess I can handle that!" Naruto shouted

"Good. You go work on that. I'll teach your sister." Jiraiya said

You throw the three-prong kunai and managed to travel but only a short distance.

"You're making good progress. What's your goal?"

"I'm trying to teleport further away. Like on the other side of the tree, but every time I teleport I always end up crashing in it or not making the mark at all." You said

"Maybe it'll be better to visualize your mark. Think of the position and how to make it there." Jiraiya said

You closed your eyes and concentrate on your breathing, you focus and throw the kunai and when you opened them.

You were on top of a tree branch dangling by your feets.

"This is insane!" You yelled

"Keep it up. You'll get there." Jiraiya said

"This situation speaks for itself!" You shouted

The branch gave way and snapped sending you crashing on the ground. You pick yourself up and brush leaves from your hair.

"I wish I'd gotten that on film. But I unfortunately I have to go and gather information to search for Tsunade. You continue training." Jiraiya said leaving with a hearty laugh, that made your blood boil.
