Ever since the whole situation happened 2 years ago , Y/N had been haunted by unpleasant memories. Each night was filled with a mixture of unclear images that caused her distress and lack of sleep , reminding het of the awful experiences she went through , ranging from Rei's venomous threats to her hospitalization , and the one she considered worst: Her fall out with Otoya.

The girl knew it wasn't okay for her to lie to her father who was worried sick about her tired demeanor , but she couldn't break the truth to him. Instead , she'd always tell him her tiredness came from staying up late doing homework and whatnot.

Tonight was the first time the girl managed to sleep peacefully without any unpleasant disturbances. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked around her room. She turned to her phone , unlocking it and realizing she had woken up before her alarm went off. Sitting up , she turned it off.

There was something strange about being well rested after such a long period of sleepless nights. Y/N's mind wandered back to yesterday's call. Hearing Eita's voice after such a long time , hearing his side of the story , making up.. It felt like a huge weight got taken off her chest. She felt free. At peace.
