Kagami was walking home, puzzling over Adrien's strange response to Marinette during the day, and wondering why Felix hadn't called her like usual. After sleeping on it, she called Felix on a rainy Saturday morning. After what was a few seconds, and an eternity; Felix picked up.
"Sorry Kagami. I'm really busy." And then the line went dead. She thought he had some nerve to lie to her, after promising that she could trust him. After carding through his schedule, she confirmed his lie. He had nothing to do at eleven in the morning. She called him again. He answered again. Eventually he got so upset that he screamed at her:
"Kagami, leave me alone! If you call me again I'm not picking up! I'm sick of you!" And after hearing his hurtful words, she went to the sparring rink at her school and fenced with a dummy till she cried. Then she called Marinette
"W-What's up Kagami?" Marinette sniffled.
"F-Felix screamed at me, and my mother is out of town. Can I come to your house?" Kagami replied, equally sniffly. "Why are you sniffling?" Kagami followed up with. "Is it because of Adrien?"
"Y-Yeah..."
"I'll be there in five minutes." Kagami said, hung up, and walked to Marinette house with a purpose
