Chapter 8: It Runs In The Family...

Out of nowhere, Crimp jumped up and puts clip handcuffs onto Velvet

"Crimp, what are you doing?!" Velvet asked

Veneer is the next one to get handcuffed

"I was just saying I have a change of heart."

"You also engaged in troll-napping, troll torture, fraud. It's just--" She said before shrugging

Clay steps forward with a clipboard and pencil

"And tax evasion. I'm gonna have to repossess your yacht."

Veneer shrugged with a smile

"Fair enough. Prison it is!"

Crimp snaps her fingers and two officers appears and grabbed one of the siblings and take them away

"Wow, this is liberating!" Crimp said happily

The crowd cheers once again, leaving Hya and everyone else standing on the yacht

Hya was too into the moment before she realized that Floyd's arm was around her shoulder

She could feel Floyd gently squeezing her shoulder, which she glanced her eyes to his direction

"...That color's good on ya, Dad." She said

Floyd knew what she was talking and glances to the side shyly before she looked back at her

"You think so?"

"Mhm." She hums in response as she nodded upwards

Floyd chuckled softly

"Thanks." He said and kisses her head, which surprises her, but she slightly smiled and put her head on his shoulder

"It also look like your singing and dancing had improved."

"Me? Haha... meh, I dunno. But at least I got those talents from you and uncle Branch." She said and chuckled before looking at Poppy and Branch

"So, how are you feeling?" Poppy asked Branch

"Happy. Grateful. And... really sorry that it's taken me this long to open up to you." Branch said

"Woah, TMI! Boundaries, my man, that is a lot of feelings." Poppy said before they laughed and she pulled Branch into a kiss

"Ahhh!! Oh my god! Yesss!!" Hya fangirls as she jumps slightly, seeing her ship of her uncle and auntie finally kissed right in front of her own two eyes

After they pull away the kiss, Branch looked up at his hair, which is now braided up into two ponytails

"Uh, what just happened?"

"Oh, that. Hah, Viva just braided your hair. It means she likes you." Poppy said

Viva appeared next to Poppy

"It means I like you!"

"We're gonna have a best family reunion ever!" Poppy said

"And a big, long talk with Dad!" Viva added

"Hah, King of Secrets, that guy."

"Right? What is his deal?"

"Oh, he's gonna be so happy to see you!"

~Back at Vacay Island~

Arriving at Vacay Island, Branch and his brothers were getting ready for a performance at Bruce's restaurant

"Hey, Viva. Do you wanna make candy necklaces that we never finish because we eat all the candy?" King Peppy asked
