REMEMBER ME

CHAPTER 1

Chiska's POV

My body suddenly froze when I heard what he said.

"Who are you?" He asked me emotionlessly. "I said WHO ARE YOU?! AND WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" He questioned me angrily.

"B-but I'm Chis, your g-girlfriend," I stuttered in response, habang pinigilan ko aking mga luha.

"Really, huh? I don't have a girlfriend like you! Look at yourself, miss, you're so cheap," he said seriously, at tumingin sakin mula ulo hanggang paa na parang diring diri sa nakikita. "Please leave me, I don't want to see your face again," he added, dahilan para sabay sabay bumagsak ang mga pinipigilan kung luha.

I turned around and ran papunta sa kwarto ko dito sa hospital kung saan ako nagpapahinga.

I remember everything that happened the day before the accident.

Flashback*

"Happy 4th anniversary, love," he said in a sweet tone, then kissed my forehead.

"Happy anniversary, Hugo," I greeted him back.

"Let's go on a date, love, I really miss you," he said affectionately. I had no choice but to nod and smile at him.

We were happily on our way, lalo na ako dahil ngayon lang ako makakain sa sobrang sikat na restaurant.

Habang seryuso siyang nag drive, ako naman ay tinitignan ko lang siya na may mga ngiti sa labi.

"Baka matutunaw ako nyan love, patay tayo jan wala ka ng mahanap na kasing gwapo ko" he joked, making me laugh.

" You know, I always thank God for giving you to me, for allowing me to love you despite all the challenges we've faced, and for letting me love you, love. I promise to God that you are the one I want to present to Him. And do you know what I'll say? I'll say, 'God, she's the woman I always tell you about, she's the only woman I'll present to you, I promise,'" he said happily. I didn't realize I was crying tears of joy.

"Thank you, love, and I love you, sobrang saya ko dahil dumating ka sa buhay ko, sana mamatili ka lang sakin ha" I said to him joyfully.

"I will always be yours, I love you more, love," he said, looking at me with a sweet smile.

We didn't expect a large vehicle to come our way, causing all of this to happen.

Dahilan para hindi niya na ako makilala..

End of flashback*

I just kept crying because he didn't recognize me. What am I going to do? What if he completely forgets me?

What about our plans? Sobrang sakit isipin na ang dating iniingatan ako ay hindi na ako makilala, Sobrang sakit.

Biglang bumukas ang pintoan kaya dali dali kung pinunasan ang aking mga luha.

"Miss Valdez, need nyo na po magpahinga para maibalik agad ang mga lakas mo" the nurse approached. I just nodded.

Puro pasa ang natamo ko dahil sa aksidente sabi ng doctor ay 15days ako di nagising. They also said I was lucky because I still remember what happened.

At si Hugo naman ay lumipas pa ang isang buwan bago siya nagising. I was so happy when I heard from the doctor that he was awake. Nagmadali akong pumunta sa kanya dahil gusto ko na siyang makita, pinagbawalan pa kasi ako ng doctor kaya diko pa siya napuntahan simula noong nadala kami dito.

At laking tuwa ko noon dahil makikita ko na siya, sobrang saya ako habang patungo papunta sa kanya, pero.. biglang naglaho ang lahat ng yun ng dahil lang hindi niya na ako kilala...
