Kiera

I strolled down the sun-drenched streets of Tulsa, my hazel eyes sparkling with a mischievous glint. At sixteen, I was already a force to be reckoned with, my brunette hair cascading over my shoulders as I made my way to the local hangout spot.

Two-Bit Matthews, my older brother by two years, greeted me with a playful grin as I arrived. "Well, well, if it ain't the troublemaker herself," he teased, ruffling my hair.

I swatted his hand away with a mock scowl. "Watch it, Two-Bit, or I'll make sure your beloved car mysteriously loses a wheel."

Two-Bit chuckled, unfazed by my threat. "Ah, but then who would you ask for rides when your bike breaks down?"

Our banter was interrupted by the arrival of Johnny Cade, a fellow greaser with jet black hair and piercing black eyes. My heart skipped a beat as Johnny flashed me a charming smile.

"Hey, Kiera, Two-Bit," Johnny greeted us, his voice soft yet filled with warmth.

"Hey, Johnny," I replied, trying to appear nonchalant despite the butterflies in my stomach.

The trio of us spent the afternoon lounging under the shade of a tree, swapping stories and sharing laughs. I couldn't deny the growing attraction I felt toward Johnny, but for now, we were just friends, our flirtatious exchanges adding a playful edge to our camaraderie.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden hue over the horizon, I couldn't help but feel grateful for moments like these. In a world filled with uncertainty, the bond I shared with Two-Bit and Johnny was a constant source of comfort and joy.

Little did I know, our friendship was about to be tested in ways we never expected, leading to a series of adventures that would shape our lives forever.

The conversation under the tree took on a playful yet intimate tone as Two-Bit teased me about my latest prank on some unsuspecting socs.

"Come on, spill the beans, Kiera. What did you do this time?" Two-Bit's eyes sparkled with curiosity.

I chuckled, a mischievous glint in my hazel eyes. "Let's just say they won't be forgetting the name Matthews anytime soon."

Johnny joined in, shaking his head in amusement. "You're something else, Kiera. Always keeping us on our toes."

"It's all in good fun," I replied with a shrug. "Those socs need a reminder that we greasers aren't ones to mess with."

Our conversation drifted to lighter topics, reminiscing about our favorite moments together, from late-night adventures to impromptu dance-offs in the middle of the street.

"I still can't believe you pulled off that dance move, Johnny," Two-Bit exclaimed, his laughter contagious.

Johnny grinned, his black eyes sparkling with pride. "Hey, when the music's right, anything's possible."

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over us, I felt a sense of contentment wash over me. These moments, surrounded by friends who felt like family, were what made life in Tulsa worthwhile.

"I'm glad we have each other," I said softly, my gaze meeting Two-Bit's and Johnny's. "No matter what happens, we'll always be there for one another."

Two-Bit nodded, a rare seriousness in his expression. "You can count on that, sis."

Johnny smiled warmly. "Absolutely. Greasers stick together, through thick and thin."

In that moment, as we shared laughter, memories, and unspoken promises, I knew that our bond was unbreakable, a testament to the strength of our friendship in a world filled with challenges and uncertainties.
