Chapter 1: Odd Adrien

When Tikki woke up at 7:45 in the morning, she floated up to the bunk and called out
"Marinette! You'll be late for school!"
"Tikki... I'm so tired..." Marinette moaned in reply. "You know I was out late with Cat"
"But your teacher will be mad!"
"You're right... Ms. Mendeleiev will end me if I'm late..." Marinette slowly rose out of bed and started getting ready. After ten minutes of struggling to get ready, Marinette ran downstairs and hopped on the bike that her grandma had recently bought her for her 15th birthday; when she arrived at school, her friends and boyfriend were waiting for her.
"Hey girl!" Alya called out
"Hello Marinette." Kagami followed. However Adrien, who would usually greet her with affection, simply nodded in acknowledgment.
"Hi Adrien!" Marinette called out, thinking he was lost in thought. When he did not answer, she walked into the school feeling dejected. In Ms. Mendeleiev's class, Marinette tried to focus, but was tired from being Ladybug, and puzzled by Adrien's strange response to her. Suddenly, she felt a cold, long, finger tapping on her
"Ms. Dupain-Cheng?" "What gives you the permission to sleep in my class?" "Go to the principal!"
"Yes Ms. Mendeleiev." Marinette mumbled sadly
After school was over, Marinette ran up to her friends and started chatting, as they walked to Kagami's fencing class with her mother, Adrien ignored her the whole time, not talking to anyone.
"Hey, Adrien!" Marinette said with a feeble attempt to start conversation; however it fell on deaf ears as Adrien ignored her. She started wondering if she had done something wrong, and by the time she had gotten home she was sure that something had happened, maybe Adrien fell out of love with her, and decided to run away to New York and be with Chloe, or worse fell into one of Lila's lies and is now with her. Her mother Sabine greeted her
"Hello Marinette, welcome home?" She said brightly, with Marinette's father Tom following with news about a baking competition that he wanted to enter with Marinette. Marinette said she would think about it and went upstairs and cried bitterly
