Location: nursery in the Duskclan camp (clan i made up)

POV

A little light silver kit quietly slept while her brother and sister played around in the nursery. Their mother had only went out for a few moments to stretch her legs ,but the little she-cat was starting to get a little anixous and woke up to the sound of her littermates bounding over to her. " Yay, you're awake!," her sister ,a pale-striped lilac-colored tabby, named Frostkit squealed excitedly. "Now we can play together! Oh...I forgot." Her littermate's tailed drooped. " You can't see us yet." The silver kit cocked her head at them cutely, her eyes still closed.

Her brother ,a smoke-colored tom, gently poked her eyelids with his nose before taking a step back. " Well, THAT didn't work," he mewed.

"Maybe Soulkit is scared, Ebonykit," Frostkit whispered.

"She doesn't look scared to me," he replied.

Soulkit sniffed the air and softly mewed, "Mother's coming back."

The other two kits looked around then looked back at Soulkit with confusion in their eyes. "I don't see her," Ebonykit meowed.

"Wait" was all Soulkit said before their mother, a dark blue tabby called Shadespots, padded back into the den holding a mouse in her jaws. Soulkit's littermates nearly jumped in surprise ,but Soulkit only sniffed the air a little, curious about what the creature her mother brought would taste like. Frostkit and Ebonykit were about to ask Soulkit about how she knew that their mother was coming back ,but soon both of them realized how hungry they were and started to dig into the mouse. "Come on, Soulkit!," Frostkit mewed. "It tastes great!" Soulkit silently licked her chops and started toward the mouse when their mother cut her off with a swift flick of a paw.

"You still haven't opened your eyes yet, Soulkit?," she meowed worriedly. "Can you please open them now."

Soulkit sighed then sat down slowly, her small tail curling around her paws. She tightly closed her eyes then took a deep breath. She opened them. Her eyes were a mysterious albino blue and they shone with a spirituality and wisdom beyond any normal cat's.

Something that could only be granted by Starclan alone.
