The house was adorned in the finest of glass decorations.
Shimmering vases and glass-blown flowers.
Red roses and yellow daisies.
The entirety of the house,
Was made of the clearest diamond.
They did that on purpose, she knew.
They wanted to watch her every move,
To study her like an object.
As if she were something they could own.
She was different, she knew that too.
An oddity to them.
A fallen angel,
Touched by the sun.
