blue

That blue shirt you wore,
The day you left me aching and sore.
In my head it was all clear,
What happened was what I mostly feared.
My heart lurks in the dark,
To find yours that left a mark.
Now when I study the ocean,
Its blue hues covering the entirety of the sea,
Synchronized in motion,
While hiding secrets from people to see.
The blue shirt you had worn,
One I wish I had torn.
Oh it sent tornadoes my way,
I wished to throw it all away.
All I could do was pray,
For everything to come back to how it was,
Back in the past,
Before I was hurt,
Before you wore that blue shirt.

SECOND VERSION(LONGER)

That blue shirt you wore,
The day you left me aching and sore.
In my head it was all clear,
What happened was what I mostly feared.
My heart lurks in the dark,
To find yours that left a mark.
Now when I study the ocean,
Its blue hues covering the entirety of the sea,
Synchronized in motion,
While hiding secrets from people to see.
The blue shirt you had worn,
One I wish I had torn.
Oh it sent tornadoes my way,
I wished to throw it all away.
It's not a curse,
Yet it's growing,
I can't find the source,
I looked through every blue river that was flowing.
Your blue shirt was perfectly hidden.
I once thought maybe I'll find it at sea,
Or I'll walk to the shore and wait for it so I can see.
I hate your eyes,
When you open them all I can see are lies.
I hate your mouth,
When all it does is pout.
I hate you,
When all you do is shine through,
Passing like a perfect figure,
That even I can't picture.
I'm looking for answers,
Looking for your proper manners.
Where could it have gone,
That time you consciously broke me.
When I thought you were done,
You didn't set me free.
Why?
Why all the lies?
How?
How do you lie?
How could you not throw it all away?
All I could do was pray,
For everything to come back to how it was,
Back in the past,
Before I was hurt,
Before you wore that blue shirt.
