Chapter 3

~Camille pov~

'What?!!' I thought

"You don't have to do that" I said to the hokage

The hokage smiled "Nonsense. Im sure one of our jounin would be happy for you to live with them"

"I Would Love For Her To Live With Me And Become My Youthful Student!!" yelled Guy

'Hell no' I thought

"Guy, I think it would be best if Camilla lived with someone more . . . qualified" the hokage said in a worried tone

"She can live with me" said a voice behind me

Everyone looked in the direction of the voice to find Ibiki

~Ibiki pov~

"She can live with me" I said. Everyone not including Camille looked at me in shock

"Are you sure thats a good idea?" Iruka asked the hokage

"I don't see anything wrong with that, but the decision is Camille's alone" the hokage said

Everyone turned to Camille who had kept an emotionless fascade the entire time

Camille looked at all of us "Do you want my honest opinion?" She asked

We nodded. "Out of everyone here I would prefer to live with Ibiki" she said

"What?! Why?!!" Shouted Guy

'Guy it's obvious that she doesn't like you' I thought slightly annoyed

"I hate green spandex, and youth" Camille said calmly, seemingly unaffected by Guy's outburst

"Can I leave now?" She asked the hokage who smiled and answered "Alright, just let Ibiki sign some forms, and tomorrow we'll find out your ninja rank"

Camille nodded, and exited the room to let me sign the forms

"Are you sure it's a good idea lord hokage to let someone so young have a ninja rank?" Asked Iruka

"I became a chuunin at age 6, I don't see the problem" said Kakashi who didn't look up since he was reading his Icha Icha book

"I agree with Iruka lord hokage, the girl is too young" said Kurenai

The hokage chuckled at the statement "Camille said that she was from the hidden star village. No?"

All of us nodded, unsure of what our hokage was implying

"The hidden star village is at least a week away while using chakra, and considering that Camille was attacked by ninja from her own village for at least a week. That alone says that she is eligible for a ninja rank" all of our eyes widened with recognition

'The kid must be powerful' I thought

"Well Ibiki, here are the adoption forms that you need to sign" the hokage said then handed me some forms

I nodded. After I signed the forms I handed them back to the hokage

"Good, you may leave now Ibiki" he said smiling

I exited the room, and found Camille sitting on a bench

"Hey" I said "Are you ready to go?" She nodded, we left the building

After awhile we arrived at a large two story house "This is where you live?" She said

"Yeah, what do you think of it?" I asked "I think that jounins are paid very well" she answered

I chuckled at that "Jounin's do get payed well, but jounin's who are good at what they do get payed even better" I said

"I guess you're good at what you do then huh" Camilla stated as we entered the house

We went up a flight of stairs, and stopped at a door "This will be your room" I said as I opened the door. The room was considerably empty, except for a bed, chair, and a desk. There was also a closet, and a door that connected to a washroom

"Tomorrow we can pick up whatever you want for your room, along with any other things you may need. Then we'll test your skills, and decide your ninja rank" I said to Camille who was staring at the room

"Alright" Camille said as she looked over in my direction

"Do you want anything to eat?" I asked her

Camille looked deep in thought for a second "Do you have any sushi?" She asked

"Yeah. Sushi's my favourite food believe it or not" I said

"It's mine too" she said "So can we have some?"

I smiled at that "Sure. The kitchen is this way. I believe I have some sushi in the fridge" I said, then led Camille back down the stairs, and brought her to an average size kitchen where we found the sushi

After we ate I looked at the clock. It read 11pm

'The day sure went by quickly' I thought

"It's pretty late, you may want to go to bed now" I said to Camille who was also looking at the clock

"There's no need for that" she said. I was confused "What do you mean?" I asked her

Camille sighed at the question "I'm an insomniac" she stated

'Well that explains the eye-rings' I thought

"What do you do in the mean time then?" I then asked

"Usually I star gaze" Camille said in a bored tone

"I guess that's all you can do at the moment. Tomorrow I'll see what I can do about that" I told her

Camille nodded "See you later" she said

"You too" I answered as I left the kitchen, and went to my room to sleep

'Tomorrow is going to be a long day' I thought as I drifted off to sleep
